Powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this 2013 Lotus Evora comes finished in grey over black upholstery and offers a 2+2 seating configuration. The Evora boasts RTM composite bodywork mounted to an epoxy-bonded lightweight aluminum chassis, along with independent suspension including forged aluminum double wishbones, Bilstein gas dampers, Eibach coil springs, and much more. Modified with a muffler delete, an Induction Technology Group cold air intake, and a carbon fiber engine bay vent panel, this Evora is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 32k miles showing on the odometer.
This Evora’s lightweight bodywork is finished in grey with black-painted 19”/20” forged design wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Apex tires. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, hood vents, side air inlets, a rear spoiler, and a central exhaust outlet. The seller adds that the wheels were refinished, a front tow hook ring was fitted, and window tint has been applied. Additionally, the wheels were refinished in October 2023, and the driver’s door handle was replaced in September 2021. Imperfections are notes on the front bumper, hood, and underside of the front bumper lip. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents black leather upholstery complemented with red stitching and piping. Equipment includes heated Recaro front bucket seats with Lotus-embroidered headrests, a matching rear bench, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, and a brushed aluminum shift knob. @Jcornwall thanks very much. Great sound for a "Camry"!

Thanks! A youtube link would be fine if that's faster than uploading here.
@sitzlejd I do. I just have to find it. I'm not sure if I can get it uploaded in time.
I know it's late in the auction but do you happen to have any driving videos showing the car going through all the gears?

@msobilo most likely' first owner was not driving it properly. That's what the service guy at Lotus who did the work said.
You say the clutch should last another 100K. Why did it have to be replaced at 32K?

@Jcornwall It is!
No effect on emissions, to my understanding.
@Jcornwall I am fortunate enough to own one of these. '11 Persian Blue 6-speed - also NA. Your description of the Cat situation is accurate. with a BOE intake, Plack exhaust and a 3rd Cat delete, my car passed NYS emissions, easily. It's been reliable but quirky.
Heads up to bargain hunters out there, this is a well-presented '13. You cannot get into the later 400s or GTs without getting into the 60s - this one should go for a discount to that number - but you'll never reqret it.
These are supercars for a song. I never anticipated the attention mine gets - and I live in a neighborhood flooded with nice cars.
GLWA!
@sportscarguy3 it still has the converters that come off of each bank of the engine. The converter that is removed is one after those and next to the muffler. Maybe someone can correct me, but I think this one is behind the sensor.
PS could you please clarify your comments about converters
Are you saying that the car currently has catalytic converters still installed?
Thanks
@Jcornwall I appreciate your lengthy description and car information regarding your lotus
I’ve driven many sports cars over the Years, you name it I probably owned it for a while or drove it as a teenager young adult
And then one day I drove a buddies Porsche and that was it. I’ve been fortunate to own several different models over 25 to 30 years.
However, as I said, always been interested in a lotus !
I’ll do some more homework and keep an eye on the sale
Appreciate the information
@sportscarguy3 Thank you!
Lotus is all about lightness. The Evora was designed to be more of the daily driver car of their lineup but it's obvious Lotus still put driver experience above everything else. I've owned M cars and corvettes before I bought this car and I can honestly say this has been my favorite out of them all. Even though it has least power out of every other car I have owned, nothing else gives you the emotions this car invokes. I drove this car every chance I got. The road feel, the sounds it made, the entire experience was a special occasion every time. I actually have a car seat for my daughter in the backseat and golf clubs for back there as well!
I will say this car is harder to get in and out of than other low sports cars. It has a wide door sill because of the tub build. There is a technique to getting in and out that my local Lotus dealer taught me. It's now natural for me.
The maintenence costs so far have been relatively low but I have been doing my own oil changes. The dealer charges a couple hundred bucks I believe, but I do not trust a lot of people to touch my cars. It's a Toyota engine so I bought a a filter for $6 at their dealership and it drinks 6 quarts of oil.
Replacing the clutch is pricey. It's a clam shell off job and can be $7k-$10k depending on where you go. Fortunately the clutch was recently done and if driven properly , it should last another 100,000 miles.
The engine will not have many issues but the rest of the car has its quirks. For example, every now and then the window will stick and I have to disconnect and reconnect the battery. The trunk will jam every now and then and will require a little upwards pressure to coax it open. I have not come across anything major.
I cannot speak to what it will be like driving this in California, I have lived in Florida my entire life. I do not have the converter or muffler. They were both removed by the dealership before I purchased the car. It still has 2 converters installed.
a good looking Lotus, always been interested in one of these never had the opportunity to drive one
All you lotus knowledgeable folks out there please comment if you have time about drivability ease of getting in and out maintenance costs, etc., etc. if you have time
Seller, the exhaust muffler delete, wondering how that might affect California smog emissions. Does the car come with catalytic converters and are they still installed?
Good luck all
@Colnago1331 The listing has been corrected.
You may want to correct the text that currently reads "Up to 276 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed IPS automatic transmission" since this is clearly a manual transmission car.
