The second iteration of the Porsche 987 underwent enhancements with refreshed styling, an upgraded PCM system, and the introduction of more potent direct fuel-injected flat-six engines. As part of the mid-cycle update, the 987.2 received new headlights and LED taillights, larger front air intakes featuring incorporated daytime running lights, and a revised lower rear fascia with twin diffusers. Finished in Carrara White, this example comes with a black retractable soft top and is equipped with the optional Cayman S II wheels, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2020. The seller reports replacing protective film near the exterior engine vents and has noted a few minor road-going imperfections, including a scrape mark under the front fender. The cabin boasts a Black leather interior complemented by optional heated front seats and a wind deflector, alongside the Sound Plus and Infotainment packages. The seller reports the TPM control unit was replaced in 2022 followed by the oil separator in March of 2023.

@PcarPaul The tires were replaced in ‘20 and have little noticeable wear. They are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Last oil change was about a year ago, with less than a thousand miles driven since then. This years annual service has not been done yet. No other needs for the drive other than sunscreen!

Can you tell me if the tires are original to the car? If not, date codes, please. Also, date of last oil change? The reason for my question is that I would be driving the car to Tucson upon pick up. Are there any other needs you would know of prior to making that trip? Thanks

@Emerald-45 There is no more recent smog test but also no alterations since then so my belief is that this car would pass. As for the floor mat the repair is invisible unless you pull the mat up.
Do yu have or could you get a more recent Smog Test Results. The lates I noticed is 2-year ago on the CarFax Report.

@donspaulding Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) control unit became non-functional. It’s an easy replacement and I did it myself with an OEM unit.
Please comment on TPM Control unit. Function and new unit solution. Thanks
@Spokayman During my tenure of ownership (since 2012) there have been very few issues with the car. Basic maintenance was performed yearly, at the dealership till around 2020 then at an Import shop in Santa Monica, CA. The biggest issue to surface was a bad oil separator that was replaced about a year ago. I also replaced the TPM Control unit. That is about it. I did ding removal as necessary, and always hand-washed it. It presents very well and was basically a Sunday-driver.

This looks like a very clean low mileage Porsche. Summer’s coming and these are so rewarding to drive.

@donspaulding On the lower left corner of the driver's side floor mat there is a repair with new velcro underside. HVAC works to spec. Bids will be posted above as they come in!

@Ericminer1 No accidents, and I am the second owner (first owner had a one-year lease). The car has no modifications other than front license-plate holder.
And can you give a price range of where you would like to land on this car?
