Finished in Black over matching leather upholstery, this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe is powered by a 408-horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. As the range-topping model of the 997.2 Carrera lineup, the GTS features a sport exhaust system, lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. One of approximately 436 Carrera 4 GTS Coupes produced for 2012, this example is among the rarer configurations equipped with a manual transmission. Additional options include bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), the Sport Chrono Package, and Bose Surround Sound. Showing fewer than 55k miles, this 997.2 is now being offered for auction out of Oregon.
The GTS model can be distinguished from the contemporary 997.2 Carrera S by its revised front fascia with a black lip spoiler, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with quad sport exhaust tips. As an all-wheel drive Carrera 4 version, this GTS also features wider fenders and a unique reflector band spanning between the LED taillights. This example is finished in Black with optional bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and GTS side stripes in silver with a matching model designation. Equipment also includes a sunroof and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin was selected with Black leather in favor of standard Alcantara. Options include Sport Seats in leather, the Bose Surround Sound System, a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner, a navigation module, and rear ParkAssist. Additionally, the Sport Chrono Package Plus adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
The GTS model’s naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine features a special resonance intake manifold and a sport exhaust system allowing it to produce 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over a contemporary Carrera S model. This example is equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, sending power to all four wheels. Performance features include lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), fixed 4-piston brake calipers, 13” cross-drilled rotors, an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and Porsche Stability Management (PSM).
This sale will include a clean title and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “If finding a GTS manual was hard - finding an AWD is even harder! For 1 year only for the 997 generation, Porsche produced the 911 GTS with an AWD system. Approximately only 271 997 4 GTS coupes landed in the U.S. for the 2012 model year. Only about 95 of those were manuals! This is a true unicorn here, and you all have the opportunity to own it! Please view the very nice service history on Carfax and bid with confidence - this car will not let anyone down.”

Second the comments that the final bid was much closer to market than the buy now price. This is a 4 GTS not a 2, it doesn't have ultra-low miles, isn't a special colour, and has a less desirable interior (not a fan of the Alcantara delete unless it's accompanied by the leather dash). Yes it's a manual and there are only 95 manual 4 GTS cars in the US, but they're still not as sought after as the slightly more common RWD manual coupes.
The closest comparable I can find is a black manual car with leather seats and 38k miles that sold on BaT for $87k in 2022, closer to the crazy time in the market than today.
Especially with an empty tank of gas 🤣
@tonitone90 ecactly!
142 buy now. Jesus. Market is where this auction ended. I think @pcarmarket needs to look at these reserves. This is indicative of protectional price gouging. Tough to enforce on an open auction site. But 142 is nowhere rooted in reality.
Buy it now 142k? Good luck with that gpmotors

@johnRAMB0 This is the same car, however the photo #49 was an old photo. We had our leather guy come out and make these seats look brand new. As you can see in the photo #50

@johnRAMB0 Same vehicle, just vastly different lighting conditions for the pictures. You go from harsh direct light that accentuates the creases and imperfections in the seats to soft outdoor lighting that hides these blemishes.
Could you please clarify the difference between the vehicles shown in photo #49 and photo #50? They appear to be two different cars. The photos taken on the garage rooftop look noticeably different from those taken in the enclosed garage—not just the surroundings, but also the condition of the seats, which seem to differ between the two sets of photos. Is it just me, or are these images of two separate vehicles?
Sorry for coming late to the party. So to clarify - do you have any no service records (outside of car fax history) any books stamped ? I see a question in the thread - any explanation for past services (like clutch when low mileage). Are stock mufflers with the car? Thank you and GLWS

@gpmotors makes sense. Sharkwerks is great and this sounds so good! GLWA!
@brooklyn_pca This car does have the Sharkwerks bypass installed. It deletes the muffler in the middle when the valves are open to give a nice roar! This does not affect emissions or the way the car runs in any way.
Hi is the exhaust all stock? I don’t remember these sounding that good. Thanks.

Also, clutch replaced before 20k miles during owner 2’s ownership?!? Any insight, that seems outrageous and I never heard of any clutch issues on the 997 GTS.
@gpmotors - Do you have a current DME?
Bid in the amount of $60,000
Sorry for the 60k in comments section🤦♂️

@Jsif69420 Yes car is all original paint
@Jsif69420 No major rock chips or scratches on the car. There is a half clear bra on the front end of the car that protected it very nicely.
Any scratches or rock chips on the car? Also is it all original paint?
