Hard to get those records before you buy it, bro'. Seller is not an Audi dealer. Good luck getting de-identified service records when you don't own the car.
The Audi dealeship will provide you with service records. I did this when I purchased my S7 at Audi Naples, FL

OK last day folks! I'll do my best to answer questions in between shoveling snow!
@List-Renn We acquired the vehicle from an Audi dealer in South Carolina. I wish I had more into to share other than Carfax. What I will say is this example is worth the investment. If I had my choice I would ship this directly to a place that would do a gated manual swap. Cost is around $15k but adds double that to the value. 100% on the wheels. Super light and fit perfectly.

I placed one too many zero’s on my bid by mistake.

Errata: ...a gated 2012 manual...
Was more referring to this "Pioneer head unit with Apply CarPlay, Android Auto, and an integrated backup camera. The factory Bang & Olufsen sound system also features aftermarket processors and amplifiers."
Why add "processors and amplifiers" to a top drawer OEM system?
A rhetorical question since you have no access to receipts, work orders or maintenance by dealers/independent shops over the 46,700 mile history.
Last question:
Did you acquire it from the previous owner or is it an auction car?
Need this info to make a realistic bid.
Thanks for the clarity.
Auction results typically are affected by a lack of it.
Thanks again. Would have asked this earlier, but was chasing a gated manual 2016 which failed a PPI I arranged. Now "settling" for a R-Tronic version. Great color and the BC forged wheels are lighter and better looking than either Gen I OEM version, IMHO.
Bid in the amount of $21,000
@List-Renn At this pace you are probably correct. I don't have any records other than Carfax. The audio upgrades are both CarPlay/Android Auto and a backup camera.
Last query:
Any idea why anyone would modify a B&O high end system besides adding Apple Car Play? Maybe to add a back up camera?Does it have one installed?
@seacoasthouseofcars So no records and no evidence of any static leak. Got it.
I smell an are en em.
Bid in the amount of $19,999
@List-Renn I will add the paint meter to the panels that aren’t composite. Yes we have a lift but scheduling a PPI with one day left isn’t going to happen. The maintenance history seems exemplary and it has not leaked a drop of anything while in our showroom.
Any maintenance records besides the CarFax entries?
Some well lit underside pictures would be helpful.
Any visible leaks or recently wiped areas from the shocks or engine/trans/coolant lines?
Since this is an engine-out service to fix damn near anything and the OEM dampers retail for $1500/each, would be prudent to have that info.
Paint meter readings as well.
Otherwise, do you have a lift on site for a PPI inspection by a third party?
TIA for any pertinent info.
Bid in the amount of $10,000

The service records in this R8 make me feel like I'm neglecting my 911.
Religious oil changes and service history.
Must be a real jem.
Good luck selling this beauty.
