@Biniba - I'm in SW Miami, next to Tamiami Airport. I don't know when it was last a Porsche dealership. I inspected it when I bought it last may. I've had it for almost a year. @luis.seneriz - 2011 Cayenne's use the same transfer case as a 2013-2014. Even if there was a difference, once you change it once, its the same as the others. We've had a Cayenne as a daily driver in our household for the last 10 years. We've gone thru ZERO transfer cases.
@luis.seneriz --Not sure how a GTS is more reliable for a transfer case? I have a 2011 and have NO issues what so ever. And I have center and rear lockers. No issues with my turbos either, and I have 170k on my truck.
Worst year for transfer case issues. Saturday I spoke with a lone star region porsche club of America member that was up to his third transfer case. A natural aspirated GTS is a lot more reliable, everyone, even Porsche employees told me to stick to 2013-2014 models. Good luck everyone.

Hopefully all the bugs have been taken care of by this time. My 2011 Cayenne Turbo is on its 3rd transfer case. 2011 Cayenne was the most troublesome model year. Couple of months ago I developed a coolant leak which cost me about $2K to repair in a private shop. My milage is about 75K miles. Good luck.

I have a clone on this 958! The Burmeister sound system is superb! I also appreciate the heated windshield.
This is my most dependable, versatile go-to Porsche our of my 3 modern Porsches to drive.

@luis.seneriz - you are correct, it is a known issue with SOME Cayenne's of this generation. It should be taken into consideration. I would like to add that unless you take it to the dealer, it doesn't cost. $5k. Almost 1/2 that price at an independent shop. Also, most shops have discovered that changing the fluid solves the problem the majority of the time. I have a lot of experience with Cayenne's. Currently own a 2016 GTS. Have personality owned 3 more before that. I've also sold about 15 more. I know this issue well.
Unfortunately this is the issue with these vehicles. Porsche had an unlimited mileage 10 year transfer case replacement. If it hasn’t been done and there is an issue with it it’s more than $5k to fix it. I’m not being negative, I’m just informing people about it. I would expect other members bidders to inform me as well if they were aware of some particular issues with some cars.
