Finished in Carrara White over a Black interior with leather Sport Seats, this 2011 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S was factory equipped with the optional P40 Design Package which adds black-painted side mirrors, air intakes, roll bars, and 19” Boxster Spyder wheels. The car also features optional Porsche-crested headrests, bi-xenon headlights, the Convenience Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, a 6-speed manual transmission, an upgraded Soul Performance valved cat-back exhaust system, Neomax Silver Sport coilovers, and a performance ECU tune. Purchased by the seller about one year ago, this Boxster S Is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 38k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Carrara White with a black cabriolet top, the exterior is complemented by black-painted mirrors, side air intake grilles, roll bars, rear model lettering, and 19” Boxster Spyder wheels with the optional P40 Design Package. The car was also factory-equipped with optional bi-xenon headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), headlight washers, daytime running lights, auto-dimming mirrors, and a wind deflector. An aftermarket Joe Toth rear spoiler has been installed along with black stone guard decals and dual Soul Performance exhaust tips. The original black Sport Tailpipe exhaust tips are included in the sale. The wheels are mounted on 7mm front and 15mm rear spacers and come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes the front bumper was refinished to eliminate license plate mounting holes and the convertible top motors have been serviced. However, a small gap is present on the passenger-side roof and the seller recommends alignment.
The Black interior features optional heated manually adjustable Sport Seats with Porsche crest-embossed headrests, and black-painted trim pieces as part of the P40 Design Package. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a rain sensor, an auto-diming rearview mirror, BOSE Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). Custom coco floor mats have been installed and the original Porsche branded carpet mats are included in the sale.
A naturally aspirated, direct fuel-injected 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 310 HP to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard equipment includes an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Anti-Slip Regulation, (ASR), and cross-drilled disc brakes with red-painted calipers. The suspension has been modified with Neomax Sport coilovers, and an aftermarket Soul Performance valved cat-back exhaust system has been installed along with a custom ECU tune by SV Motors of Sarasota, Florida. The seller notes the battery, spark plugs, and coil packs were recently replaced. Some service records are provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, a clean title (lien), and the original shock absorbers, spoiler lid, exhaust tips, and floor mats.
The seller would like you to know: “The car looks and drives fantastic. It sounds as good as it drives. Everything works, all service done.”

@pellar to my knowledge, a cat-back exhaust does not remove the catalytic converter and doesn't affect a vehicle's ability to pass emissions testing. The tune should not as well.
do you know if the modified exhaust and tune prevents it from passing 50 state smog inspections?

@TTD there is no controller for it. As the car did not come equipped with sport mode, the tune effectively gives it the same feel and throttle response. The sound from the Soul exhaust is perfect. It is not overly loud and can be adjusted by closing the valves. No popping sounds. The cold start video captures the sound well.

@Joejm14 Thanks. Do you have the MyGenius controller for it? Can you describe the changes from stock in terms of sound/seat of your pants feel? Thanks.
@Neno1114 I am unaware of any paint work other than the front bumper that I had resprayed when I had filled the front bumper license plate holes.
@TTD The tune is a stage 1 and was performed directly by Pearson at SV Motors in Sarasota. Pearson does tunes for Soul Performance and others in the industry. You can find his products here https://soulpp.com/?s=pearson&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1. His Instagram is https://www.instagram.com/pearsontuned/
Can you asure me there is no paint work because you have not posted meter readings. Thank you.
Beautiful car. Are you able to provide any details about the tune? Thank you.

@91724H thank you. Luckily we escaped the worst and didn’t have any damage or flooding.

btw I hope Helene has not caused any damage on your side
Hi Joe, do you have the oem exhaust and suspension?
Thanks
@Cfrankscid I do not have a copy of the original window sticker. vinanalytics.com does a nice job of showing all the options. Just enter the VIN WP0CB2A85BS730288 in the search page.

@Joejm14, thanks for this quick response and photos.
@zuff - thank you for the questions. I'll do my best to answer them.
1. These were added by me. They are decals and can be easily removed. Here is a link https://kistudios.com/product/porsche-boxster-987-headlight-trim/
2. I have not performed a DME test. If I can get one done before the close of auction I will add it.
3. No rust anywhere on the car. An underside photo has been added to the photo library
4. There is no cracking and the seats are in great condition. The driver seat has some light normal creasing that might look like cracks from the photos. I have added a close-up photo to the photo library.
5. The 987 tops have 2 motors and they have to be serviced with time and use. No issues and everything functions as it should.
6. I do not have information regarding the shift cables.
7. The tune was completed along with the exhaust installation to account for the additional airflow. To the best of my knowledge, it should not affect California smog testing.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
Hi Joejm14, nice looking boxster. A few questions:
1) is the black around the headlights stock or was that added? If added later, is it a sticker and removable?
2) Do you have a DME report showing any overrevs?
3) Any corrosion / rust underneath? Can you post some photos of the underside given that this Boxster lived in CT and OH for several years and over 10k miles.
4) the front edge of the driver seat appears wrinkled or cracked; hard to tell from the pictures. Can you post a close up of the condition of that and the driver side bolsters?
5) The ad says the convertible top motors were serviced. What does that mean? Any issues with the convertible top mechanism since the service besides the mis-alignment?
6) Were the shift cables replaced with the upgraded Porsche cables or aftermarket? The service record is not clear.
7) Can you provide details about the tune? I'm not familiar with the brand. Do they use their own tune or someone else's? Any idea if it would pass Smog in California?
Hi Neno1114, it is not easily noticeable, the lid on the passenger side sits less than a 1/4 inch higher than the driver side. Operation is not effected. This occurred after the top motors were serviced. I’ll post a picture as well.
You mentioned that front bumper was painted. Can you please post some pics of body panels with a paint meter? Thank you.
I read in the ad, that there is a gap by the convertible top. Can you post a picture of that?

Hello - thank you for the comment, and I agree! The stance looks great. It also handles great as well. No issues with daily roads, I would say handling is improved. Just need to take it slower over speed bumps and dips.
Lowered ride height looks fantastic, how is the ride over daily roads? GLWS
