Topping the 997.2 Carrera range, this 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is finished in Black Metallic over Black leather and Alcantara. It features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, an optional limited-slip differential, and the Sport Chrono Package. Configured at an original MSRP of approximately $128k, it also includes optional 19" Carrera Sport wheels, body-color exterior components, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS, heated Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, a heated three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the BOSE Surround Sound System. Showing less than 8k miles on the odometer, this well-equipped GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.
Sporting the wider bodyshell of the Carrera 4, this GTS is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a matching convertible soft top. Optional body-color exterior accents include the front lip spoiler, lower rear panel, side skirts, headlight cleaning system covers, and mirror attachment points. Additional options include bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus and the deletion of side model designations. It rides on optional 19” Carrera Sport wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images and a clean CARFAX report are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the Black leather and Alcantara interior features Adaptive Sport Seats, a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and much more. A list of options is provided below:
The 997.2 GTS is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six producing 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over the standard Carrera S. A desirable 6-speed manual transmission with a factory-optioned limited-slip differential sends power to the rear wheels, enabling a 0-60 time of approximately 4.4 seconds. It comes standard with a Sport Exhaust System, while the Sport Chrono Package Plus was additionally optioned. The seller notes an oil change was performed in January 2025, and the CARFAX report lists 9 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Not many left like this GTS with under 10,000 miles! Here is your chance to buy one of the most balanced 997 that one can buy. The perfect car in-between a base model and GT.”

Just wanted to add a comment on the top. I’ve had the GTS cab in PDK and enjoyed the open top most of the time I drove the car. The windscreen is simple to attach, can stay in when the top is up so no fiddling when you want the top down. And yep, a smaller bag with a full see fits across the back seats w the screen on.
Like many convertibles today the top will go down at low speeds. Converting from coupe to convertible is quite fun.
Finally, this top certainly looks awesome to me. Porsche also has a refresh process to clean and replenish waterproofing. Worth doing every couple years.
Cheers all, enjoy.
GTS 997.2 are my personal favorite and this would be a real special GTS in any collection w that 6 speed.
@Anap27 Please see recently uploaded photos. If you look at the close up photos of the top, you'll notice it is slightly worn, but far from needing replacement. Very normal for the mileage. Top needs no replacement and has always been garaged parked.

Follow up re: top.
Photo #29 shows what appears to be fold/creases and/or tears in the fabric. Having owned cabs before and replaced tops, I’m familiar with the typical life span over 10+ yrs and want to qualify what you define as “perfect “ (given the norm for age) and quantify what add’l cost to replace in any bidding.
Please define what that pic illustrates … folds or tears? and your est of remaining life before replacement.
Thanks

NOTE: there is PPF on the entire front end and mirrors of this car

@Anap27 Condition of the top is perfect. The wear that you're seeing behind the corner window is totally normal on 996/997 cabriolets.
@Patwacokid No accidents on this car. All original paint.
Bid in the amount of $65,500
What’s the condition of the convertible top? It appears torn and worn.
What is the condition of the convertable top mechanism? Issues?
Paint condition? thickness calculations ?
Has the car ever wrecked wet paint work etc
Which it had full leather, but still a great spec. So tempting!
@Tpcarmarket There isn’t really any point bidding until much closer to the end of the auction.

Interesting comments but basically no bids. Don’t get it…
Beautiful spec! GLWTA
Nice!

@Pcar This has 5 lugs, not centerlocks. That makes this VERY rare.
This ticks a lot of boxes…beautiful spec.
Saved for the next owner! Buy it and drive it. I've written about mine extensively on the blog. It's a 997 speedster for a fraction of the price.. in a 6 spd since speedster was only PDK.
Many were black, but less than 10% were basalt black. The exterior painted options and Delete Side Model Designation add to the rarity for those in to the details!
This should be interesting. This is the holly grail. Rare as hen’s teeth. Very few produced. Like a topless GT3.
