Debuted in 2009, the updated Porsche 997.2 generation Carrera 4S introduced a unique reflector band connecting the taillights as well as a new 3.8-liter engine with direct fuel injection. This 2011 Cabriolet version is finished in Carrara White over Black upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, 19” Turbo II wheels, Sports Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and more. Cared for by its second owner for approximately 10 years, this C4S is now being offered for auction out of New York with less than 52k miles on the odometer.
The Carrera 4S is fitted with wider bodywork than a standard Carrera as well as red-painted brake calipers and a unique full-width taillight reflector. Finished in Carrara White, this example features black-painted 19” Turbo II wheels with colored Porsche center crests and Pirelli tires. The seller adds that 35% tint has been applied on the side and rear windows along with 25% tint on the windshield. Some imperfections are noted including several dings on the front bumper and driver's side mirror. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage in December 2011.
The cabin is upholstered in Black leather contrasted by an optional body-colored center console and dashboard trim strip. Additional options include the Comfort Package, Infotainment Package, Sport Chrono Package Plus, a heated steering wheel, electronically adjustable ventilated front seats, Universal Audio Interface, and Bluetooth Interface for Mobile Phone. The seller reports all gauges, electronics, and accessories to be working properly, and that the driver’s seat was reupholstered in June 2022.
This Carrera 4S is powered by a naturally aspirated and direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine that sends up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 4.5 seconds and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with 330mm cross-drilled discs at each corner. The seller states that records are included showing a history of routine service.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a car cover, a windscreen with case, documentation, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have owned this car for 10 years with little daily use as you can tell by the low mileage. The car has always been garaged. All maintenance is up to date with complete documentation. The driver seat was professionally re-upholstered in June 2022.”

I think the issues found in the PPI (mostly electrical) were probably from the car not being driven much over the last year as evidenced from the Carfax. That doesn't seem too unusual to me.
Bid in the amount of $25,952
@carnut I could imagine it might have been from an unfortunate incident with a shopping cart.
Minor either way
That "ding" in the front left quarter panel looks more like a "dent"! IMHO
I’m not a mechanic so can’t really comment intelligently on those remarks on the PPI. It is what it is as they say!
sad to say, but this car appears to to have spent a lot of time in parking lots. it need a lot of TLC. Still fine if it sells at a compensatory price. there are plenty of really nice ones out there with lower miles to pick from. this was a daily driver.
"Just received the Third Party report- VERY positive- No alerts or major problems identified!"
Thats not how I would describe 7 faults, including the stability management system and low fuel pressure.
Can you comment on those faults detected in the inspection? Those are pretty tough to ignore.
Answered previously- usual wear and tear scuff marks. Not that big of a deal!
Owner< can you address the sill plate damage please?
Bid in the amount of $25,700
Port Washington Long Island. Just inspected (PPI ) in Huntington @ Lynmor Motors. See attached docs at end of photo stream
Bid in the amount of $25,252
I was planning on bidding but damn! Seller did this car live outside in the City? Too Late now but I would have had Northport uncle inspect in person.
There is a slight tint to windshield. Could be less than 25%
The 25% tint on the windshield is a mistake, right? It doesn't look tinted in the photos. A 25% tint on the windshield would be illegal in MA.
@dawgfan1214 Yeah that sill plate looks like it has damage underneath. Not sure how that could happen. Very strange.
All weather tires actually. 1set only
@Beach427 all paint will have a slight variance between panels....those look like normal readings for factory paint
I see the car currently has snow tires on it, do you have the normal summer tires?
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Regarding photos 134 - 149 paint coating reading. Can anyone explain why the difference in reading? Is there a standard reading when it’s original paint?
Correct
The Carfax shows the windshield was replaced by Gold Coast Porsche in 2013. I believe just before you bought it?
@MikeC guess I didn’t ask- assumed Dealer was straight shooter- ha!
On second thought and review of records, I don’t recall windshield being replaced.
Feel like you should know how the car was damaged . Hard to believe that you didn't ask that question yourself when you bought it . You must have asked to to see a carfax when you bought it , true ? First words out of my mouth are , can I see a carfax ? I don't care if it's a ford escort . Could see if you are the fifth owner , no I still can't see it
Definitely 2 keys. Not sure about oem - sorry
I see the windshield was replaced. Do you know if it was oem? Does the car come with 2 keys?
Bid in the amount of $21,000
Scuffed - Doesn't effect drivability. Car has been driven and used. Check the alerts- never red-lined.
@neilbercow referring to pic 64
@neilbercow What about the sill plate? It’s so beat it looks like it’s been pounded with a hammer. How could damage possibly happen to that?
Thanks for the interest however I beg to differ. I believe it’s ll normal wear and tear like the scuffs in pic 64. After all it’s a 12 plus year old car. Mirror got dinging up being trailered to Fl. No idea what happened in 2011 records at dealer are destroyed after 7 years. PPI came out clean
Wow, this car is pretty thrashed. Looks like someone took a hammer to the driver’s side sill plate on picture 64. How did that get so banged up?? Never seen that before. And how did the damage occur to the mirror? That’s also very unusual. Please advise. Definitely more than just normal road driving wear and tear.
Any idea of what damage occurred in 2011?
Very well presented cab.
Morning all
Thanks again for looking at the site and bidding. Great car- Someone is going to be thrilled!

Hey, Thanks for looking, and very observant!
The 4S on the rear hood was cracked and very expensive to replace. I felt it was a cleaner look to be left off the rear of the car. It still says 4S on the floor of the doors (see pic) and definitely drives like a 4S.
Id like to know why it don't say c4s anywhere
Thanks
I only found out about the 'damage' a few days ago, as it was never disclosed in my purchase of the car. The accident was in 2011 a few months after the original owner rolled off the lot. I bought in Nov 2013. I had a PPI third party assessment completed yesterday- NO sign of rebuilding. Full report to follow, and I'll post when available.
Appreciate your taking a look and interest.
Can seller please explain the damage if you can
@Laxplaya11385 Me Too! I’ve really enjoyed owning and driving this car! Wish my time with it wasn’t up, as I thought I’d own it forever.
Beautiful car! Excited to see how this one plays out.
