Ferrari’s flagship mid-engine sports car from 2010 to 2015, the 458 Italia features distinctive Pininfarina-designed bodywork, carbon ceramic brakes, active suspension, an E-Diff electronic differential, and a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine producing over 560 HP. This 2011 example is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Nero leather interior with optional carbon fiber trim, red stitching, and Ferrari emblem headrests. The car was also optioned with parking sensors, a backup camera, a leather-wrapped fire extinguisher, Scuderia fender shields, red brake calipers, a yellow tachometer, and a carbon fiber steering wheel with LED shift lights. Acquired by the seller in March 2023, this Ferrari is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 20k miles showing on the odometer.
Designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Donato Coco, the 458 Italia’s lightweight aluminum bodywork offers high downforce and aerodynamic efficiency. The car features carefully engineered air intakes, deformable winglets on the front grille, prominent side skirts, and a large F1-inspired rear diffuser. Other details include a transparent engine cover, LED taillights and daytime running lights, automatic HID headlamps, and triple center-mounted tailpipes. This 2011 example is finished in the traditional Ferrari color of Rosso Corsa and includes optional red brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, and 20” forged 5-spoke wheels. The seller notes the front bumper, hood, and fender were refinished using genuine PPG paint and the full exterior and glass have been ceramic coated using Carpro Cquartz 3.0. The Pirelli P Zero tires have also been coated with a 3-month dressing. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing the vehicle was deemed a total loss by an insurance company following an accident to the front end in 2022.
The Nero leather interior is accented by red stitching and features optional carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, door panels, sill covers, and center console. Other options include a carbon fiber driver zone with LED shift indicator lights, Ferrari emblem embossed headrests, a yellow tachometer dial, parking sensors (front and rear), a backup camera, a front axle lift system, a leather-wrapped fire extinguisher, a JBL sound system, and a Bluetooth phone interface. A K40 radar detector system has also been hardwired into the car. The seller notes that leather conditioner has been applied during their ownership and some of the interior trims have been refinished with a hard coating to eliminate stickiness. The climate control module still shows a sticky texture, and some wear is noted on the outer driver’s seat bolster.
This 458 Italia is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, variable intake timing, and direct fuel injection. Up to 562 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and E-Diff electronic limited-slip differential. The car comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive magnetorheological dampers, the F1-Trac traction control system, and a Manettino drive mode selector mounted on the steering wheel. The seller notes an oil service has been completed under their ownership and all other known maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include the owner's manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a SealSkin car cover, and a rebuilt/salvage title.
The seller would like you to know: "Hello and welcome to my auction. I hope this vehicle gets you as excited as it made me the first time I saw it. From its color combo to its options, I found it to be absolutely perfect for me, and I know the next lucky owner will appreciate this beauty as much as I did. Wish everyone luck and happy bidding!"

The CarFax "airbags did not deploy" show why CarFax is such a joke. They are completely worthless. Beautiful 458!

I do not have the repair invoice I only have the invoices of the parts that were purchased from ferrparts which were given to me when i purchased the vehicle. The only photos of the crash damages that are available are the ones off of google. If you search up the vin in google you can see the photos of the crash damage. Unfortunately I am about an hour away from home I don’t believe I will make it back in time to upload the photos of the invoices but they will definitely be provided with the vehicle. Thanks!
I would also like to see parts and repair invoices. Also, please upload pictures of the crash damage.
@Ferr213 Can you upload the parts invoices for the repair? It would be really helpful if it was known who did the work.
@abovethelaw I have not ran into any problems with the dct for me to have done any repairs. Thanks
Has the car had a DCT/speed sensor rebuild or refresh?
@lowflying registered and insured yes
Is the car currently insured in California?
@spyruf Hi, it was installed prior to me acquiring the vehicle.
When was the k40 radar system installed?
@lowflying Hi, the title says salvage on the top right. And no malfunction lights of any kind are present. Thanks!
Does the car have a California rebuilt title, or a salvage title? Are any check engine or similar lights on?
Bid in the amount of $71,000
@alasorte1 Hi, there are no noises from the vehicle of any kind. And since the damage stopped at the front of the car it did not reach the suspension. Thanks!
@Ferr213 are there any residual issues from the accident. Any noises? Does it track straight? Steering problems?
Bid in the amount of $70,000
@delanodp The stickiness is not from anything being applied to the car. This is a known issue with all early model to recent model Ferraris as well as other Italian manufacturers. It is from the type of coating the manufacturer uses on the interior and over time it starts to become sticky. This vehicle does not have the sticky button issue on every part, it was only to a few pieces which were either cleaned or refinished. Thanks!
Strange - what is this 'stickiness' you describe and what was applied to it? Details of the repairs goes a long way to attracting confident bidders...
@Jeffe2020 Hi, I don’t know the exact shop who did the repairs but I did get a copy of the part invoices. Almost all of the parts were purchased from ferrparts and were new oem parts. The only two parts which were purchased as used oem were the front bumper and the hood. Thanks!
If you run the VIN you will get the Copart pictures prior to the repairs and the auction sale price in December 2022. No information on the actual repairs; however the panels all appear straight in the pictures (repairs look to be solid). In person inspection would be advised. Anything can be fixed with enough time and money.
Do you know who did the repair to the Ferrari and possibly have receipts for the work?
Bid in the amount of $42,069
@Ferr213 forgot to mention the airbags were replaced as well. Thanks!
@jmorin Hi, it was involved in a collision to the direct center of the front end. The damage stopped at the front rebar and as a result the front bumper, hood, front rebar, radiator trellises, radiators, and tub were replaced along a few minor brackets and pieces.
Any information on the accident or subsequent repairs?
Bid in the amount of $25,000
