Representing the first and only BMW M3 generation to feature a V8 engine, this 2011 BMW E92 M3 Coupe comes finished in Space Grey Metallic over a Fox Red Novillo Leather interior and came factory optioned with the Competition Package as well as an M Twin-Clutch transmission. The car was acquired by the seller from its previous owner in 2020 and has since undergone considerable refurbishment, service, and the installation of aftermarket 19” forged wheels with new tires. Showing approximately 65k miles on the odometer, this M3 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

The M3 is distinguished from a standard E92 3-Series Coupe by its wider front fender vents with integrated LED turn signals, more aggressive bumpers and side skirts, an aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, and a rear decklid spoiler. This example comes finished in Space Grey Metallic with factory high-gloss Shadowline trim, a carbon fiber roof panel, and adaptive xenon headlights. The car has been modified with a carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler, mirror caps, and front splitters as well as aftermarket TE:AL 19” forged wheels dressed in new Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires. Since purchasing the car, the seller has replaced the taillights, restored the headlight lenses, and refinished the carbon fiber roof. Some small paint chips are noted on the hood and front bumper, and two small marks are present on the passenger door. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with Black and Fox Red Novillo Leather upholstery complemented by an Anthracite headliner and black leather Carbon Structure trim. Accessories include a BMW Individual Audio System, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a rain sensor, rear Park Distance Control (PDC), Navigation System Professional, Voice Control, and Extended BMW Online Information. the seller notes all gauges and accessories are working properly, although the driver’s side cup holder extends slowly.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter S65 V8 engine features individual throttle bodies, double-VANOS valve timing, and a redline of 8400 RPM. Up to 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels by a 7-speed M Twin-Clutch automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The optional Competition Package adds stiffer springs with a 10mm lower ride height, a remapped Electronic Dampening Control system, and a sport-tuned Dynamic Stability Control system. The CARFAX report shows a consistent maintenance history including extensive service by Germain BMW of Naples, Florida from August 2020 to August 2023. The seller adds that the throttle body actuators have not been replaced and an oil analysis indicates the rod bearings are in good condition.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, service records, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This has been my daily for several years! I LOVE the car. As I near retirement, I am making my life simpler, thus I am reducing the herd. I have already purchased a car for me, and this one as you will note, has had EXTENSIVE work. If anything has even burped, I had it fixed, at no regard to cost. On to the car, as you can see, I really love my cars”

Thanks everyone for bidding. If you add up what I have spent ( over 30K?? ) over the last 3 years, you get a car that has had MANY expensive items fixed on my dime. Yes, the Throttle Actuators have yet to go, but that is a much smaller deal in years past, so I just wanted to add that in, clearly I never hesitated to spend a lot of money to take care of the car.

Of note, the seats are a manual adjustment. I have had many issues with BMW electric seats, so when shopping for this car, I wanted manual. I have been very careful wo not wear the drivers outer bolster, in my 3 years, what is there now, was the wear when the car was purchased. The seats and interior, are in wonderful condition. I have recently purchased the two pieces that surround the radio and below, and will include those if the car sells. They are really "marked or not really superb" in condition.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 2 monthsago

@Seanyfitz_ Sorry, bad dictation, I bought the car right at the beginning of Covid. The original wheels were black, and had been colored to silver, poorly in my opinion. As things were shutting down, I had a VERY hard time finding someone that was willing to fix them. I then learned that Bimmerworld was virtually giving away sets of their VERY best forged wheel, in the 19 inch sizes. They had sold poorly, so I decided to buy a set, add new tires, new pads all around and just move on. So, I sold the original wheels, via a Forum.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 2 monthsago

@Seanyfitz_ I do not. They had been colored to bmw silver, and were peeling! I choir the car at the beginning of Covid, and as I researched my opportunities to get them fixed, my prospects were pretty slim, so I just decided to sell them and purchase forged wheels.

  • Seanyfitz_ (registered bidder) 1 year, 2 monthsago

do you have original wheels ?

Good morning everyone I have sent a cold start video to the editors for them to post for me. It’s about two minutes long. The cold start routine drop to low idle literally have a second after I pressed stop so it is a two minute long video. I hope that it meet with everyone’s needs. If not, let me know.

@cjwracing33 The last of the BMW high revving NA V engines probably. And, these V8's don't leak or drip like SO many BMW V8 products. Thanks again. Hopefully she will find a new home, but if not, I won't be disappointed, they are becoming harder to find in Comp form, they are not all ragged out.

  • CJWRacing33 (registered bidder) 1 year, 3 monthsago

    I love these. I have a sub 18k mile manual non-comp. they're great cars.

A little over a day left, let me know if you have ANY questions.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

@Mshakar1 , thank you. The car is obviously a daily for me, but it has been serviced, at a Naples Dealer with the exception of 1 (?) service? The Indy tech stripped the drain plug, then had to fix which eventually cost us nearly 5K to replace the oil pan, but, it gave us a BUNCH of opportunity to do ( while we are in there items) like motor mounts. I did not detailing to the car, in fact, I had been driving it for 3 days pre pics, then had few minutes for photo's, so I took them. My point s that, is that it is not some detailed to the 99th degree car, then pics are taken. This is how I have kept it for 3+ years.

  • Mshakar1 (registered bidder) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Great looking car and history. I have been looking for one just like this.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Adding in some pictures of the beautiful carbon fiber roof! Thanks for looking !

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Oh, this was not in M mode. just normal mode shifting at about 7500 RPM

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

@DrT, video posted! Hope it helps, I used a separate pic, better than the phone along, but still not perfect, but it does give you a sense of the wonderful intake and exhaust noise!

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

@DrT i’ve submitted several driving acceleration videos. Will see if they are good enough to post so I did submit them a few minutes ago. Hopefully they’ll be posted tonight if the quality is good enough for the auction.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

@DrT Thanks for your request. I actually have submitted driving video's with an external mic, but P Car did not like the quality, but I will happily try again. It could have been a number of factors, so I'll try it.

I can say, my son has an E90 ( 4 door) with a tune and H pipe, and a Megan (sp?) exhaust. His has a much deeper tone, and this E92 is still very refined. So, yep, I'll give it a try, nothing lost is giving it a go.

These cars are spectacular performers. I have had some fun cars, and thought I would not like the DC trans, but for every day driving, it is really amazing. I put 246K on my 2000 M5 on the original clutch, recently sold our Euro M3, 2 1995 supercharged S351 Saleens, our 1966 Shelby GT350 race car, our 2004 Vert 6 speed M3, and a couple of other cars. This car is a superb balance of a lot of these cars, and in a civilized manner, until the oil gets hot and you press the M button!

  • DrT (registered bidder) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Love to see (& hear) a driving youtube...

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Oh, please note the M sport exhaust........it sounds lovely.

  • Footnfan (seller) 1 year, 3 monthsago

Hello everyone, Dan the owner here. Thanks for looking at our nice E92 M3.

I have owned a number of M cars. I recently sold my beloved E36 Euro M3 here, https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1994-bmw-e36-m3-euro-spec-2/

I have spared no expense on this E92. I have enjoyed driving it on a daily basis. It does have an extended warranty thru 6/2024. It can be transferred, I can post the language, or P car can, they have it.

Service and history of note. Oil every 5K. I NEVER rev the car up until oil temp hits 200 degrees, minimum. I am 64, I don't beat on the car, but do enjoy hearing the M sport exhaust sing.

New Tires about 45 days ago. Carbon Fiber roof refinished to a factory beautiful finish. Oil analysis every 2 oil changes or so, no worries every found. Super light Bimmerworld 19 inch forged staggered rims. New break pads when rims installed.

Recent new alternator and battery, last week. New AC Evaporator last month. New tires and under body felt parts on 1/23. 2 new coils at the same time, new spark plugs. New oil pan, motor mounts, 9/22. New oil level sensor Jun/22.New plugs and coil on Jun 22. 2 new computer brains, steering switch Nov 21. new vacuum pressure line Aug 20.

Garage kept, not abused. Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll check in several times per day.
