We are pleased to offer this 2010 Porsche 997.2 GT3 finished in Carrara White. Offered with improved aerodynamics and a larger 3.8L flat-six, the second generation 997 GT3 was the last to use the venerable Mezger engine design and remains one of the rarest and most sought after Porsches of the modern era. At an original sticker price of over $132k, this 2010 GT3 was delivered with options including carbon fiber Sport Bucket Seats, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Sound Package Plus, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, and more. It has also been customized with removable RS-style graphics, a Fabspeed air intake, and a GMG exhaust system. Now with just over 16k miles showing on the odometer, this GT3 is being offered for auction by its owner out of California.
This GT3 comes finished in the nonmetallic shade of Carrara White with custom removable RS-style graphics in red. The front end, rocker panels, and mirror housings are preserved under clear paint protection film and the car is said to have always been garage kept and never subjected to track use under the current ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This 997.2 comes factory equipped with Dynamic Cornering Lights, headlight cleaner covers in Carrara White, and 19" GT3 center-lock wheels which have been refinished in red and dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires dated from 2020.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with lightweight carbon fiber Sport Bucket Seats and a three-spoke Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel. Additional equipment includes the Sound Package Plus, a Bluetooth phone interface, Universal Audio Interface, self-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, and PCM 3.0 with Extended Navigation. The center console has been painted to match the exterior and a white GME half-cage has been installed along with OMP racing pedals and a fire extinguisher mounted beneath the driver seat.
Among the last Porsches to feature the coveted Mezger engine, this second-generation 997 GT3 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six generating up to 435 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque stock. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission. Both the sound and performance of the vehicle are enhanced by an upgraded Fabspeed air intake and GME exhaust system. The optional Sport Chrono Package is equipped along with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) which provide excellent fade-resistant stopping power. The CARFAX report highlights a history of service dating back to 2009, and the seller states that the vehicle has only ever required standard routine maintenance.
This sale will include a clean title. Commonly regarded as one of the greatest driving Porsche 911s of all time, this tastefully upgraded and nicely optioned 997.2 GT3 is just waiting to please its next owner.
