One of the most desirable 997s of all, the 2009 Turbo marks a transitional model year featuring the original 3.6-liter Mezger engine paired with the second-generation interior and updated PCM system of the 997.2. This example features a host of desirable options including a Carrara White finish over a specially ordered Cocoa leather interior, a 6-speed manual transmission, Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Adaptive Sport Seats, red taillights, several painted exterior parts, and more. Previously sold on PCARMAKET, this Turbo is now being offered for auction while showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Carrara White with a Cocoa convertible top, this Turbo presents optional red taillights and painted exterior items including the side skirts, spoiler lip, and lower area of the rear apron. Model-specific details include factory-widened rear fenders, dual-side air intakes, and 19” Turbo wheels. The CARFAX report notes water damage, however, documentation will show that the only damage caused to this vehicle was on the convertible top due to vandalism. The seller states that the top has since been professionally replaced at a certified Porsche dealership and records will show that this vehicle never suffered any water damage. The seller states LED lighting has been installed and notes minor curb rash on the rear wheels along with a light scrape on the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with paint meter readings provided by the previous seller in November 2020.
The cabin presents a special-order Cocoa leather interior featuring hard-back Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche-crested headrests. As a 2009 variation, this Turbo’s interior sports the highly desirable updated PCM unit. Additional optional features include a thicker leather 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel, XM Radio, Universal Audio Interface, and Cocoa floor mats, while Sport Chrono Package adds a stopwatch dial mounted atop the dashboard.
The legendary 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine generates 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque stock to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller adds that a Europipe Stage I exhaust system, EVOMS Performance ECU tune, and Numeric Racing adjustable short shifter have been installed, and routine service has been carried out. Recent service documentation is available for viewing in the gallery, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 22 service history records dating back to 2009.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my auction. I've owned it for almost 3 years. It is garaged in a climate-controlled attached garage. A new top was installed, and all maintenance is up to date. The car needs nothing, except perhaps a new home as I am downsizing. There have been mild engine and exhaust upgrades installed professionally. See attached invoices. Thanks!"

Hey good morning guys. I’m sorry I haven’t responded in a couple of days it is I’ve been out very sick with Covid. As to the tow truck, the car was not deemed safe drivable with a torn top flipping all around. I’ll be here all day to answer questions. Thanks in advance.
@manolochaves1 not sure what the story is with that, it actually says that in the Carfax which is what makes this weird. Car seems great otherwise but that's a big otherwise.
@Userapatel . Bit lost here . I bidded understanding the car fax was an error but it turns out was towed . This changes for menthe game as was ok with owner explanation but this is different.
It looks like one of the CV boots might need to be replaced.
In regards to the water damage, you state it's due to the top being cut but why would the car need to be towed for that? May want to also show a autocheck to show what they report

Carfax says water damage for a reason , any idea ? That carfax will effect any resale value
@luis.seneriz When I had the upgrades done at 39,405 the brakes were fine and not in need of any work. I've had other work done recently, and there was not any evidence of wear and nothing needed to be replaced. Thanks for the question and your bid.
So I believe car got new clutch tires in 2020. What about the brakes I’m
A fly and drive guy thanks pretty car

Havenhearth, I wish the seats were heated, but they're not. Nor are they ventilated, which I do not miss. And thanks for the compliment, it is a beauty!
Cheers
MikeC - Thanks for the Carfax question. As explained in the narrative, the rag top was cut open and the car was burgled. I'm working with Carfax to amend their comment. There is no flood or water damage to the car. I have a clear title and open to anyone doing a complete inspection.
Please explain water damage report on carfax , can't consider bidding otherwise
Thanks for listing this handsome car.
Do the seats have either heat or ventilation?
Cheers
