Launched for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation Porsche 911 Carrera featured improved technology, LED taillights, and a new series of more powerful flat-six engines with direct fuel injection. This Canadian-market 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Black leather upholstery and is equipped with 19” Carrera S II wheels, optional heated leather Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package Plus, dynamic cornering bi-xenon headlamps, a Bose sound system, navigation system, and Bluetooth phone interface. Cared for by the previous owner since 2014, this Carrera S was acquired by the seller in 2024 and is now being offered for auction out of British Columbia with approximately 61k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Basalt Black Metallic, this 997.2 Coupe can be distinguished as a Carrera S by its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust tips. Equipment includes optional dynamic cornering bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, LED taillights, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and 19” Carrera S II wheels. The seller reports Continental ContiSportContact 3 tires were mounted in May 2020 and a ceramic coating was applied to the full exterior in preparation for the sale. The front bumper was replaced along with the right-side headlight and fender following the damage shown on CARFAX in 2010. Some curb rash is also noted on the rear wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The black interior features optional heated leather Sport Seats, a matching Alcantara headliner, silver trim pieces, and a three-spoke leather steering wheel. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), a navigation system, a Bluetooth phone module, and Porsche-branded floor mats. Some signs of wear are noted on the center console.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in 2013, the accessory drive belt was replaced in 2015, and an oil change was performed in September 2024 along with a DME report as shown in the photo gallery. New brake pads and rotors were installed within the last 4k miles. The seller adds that the high-pressure fuel pump and ignition have also been replaced.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, tools, and a British Columbia vehicle registration.
The seller would like you to know: “The car is in amazing condition and has never been abused or parked outside.”

All I have to say is these cars are a blast to drive. In a few years, with all other 911s being more expensive, it’s hard to see these not follow suit.
