Marking the inaugural year of the updated 997.2 generation and its improved direct fuel-injected engines, this 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was also among the first to feature the optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. It comes finished in the seldom-seen shade of Aqua Blue Metallic over Stone Grey upholstery and features Power Comfort Seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, the Bose High-End Sound Package, XM Radio, and much more. Showing under 59k miles on the odometer, this 997.2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This Carrera is finished in the rarely seen shade of Aqua Blue Metallic with a Black convertible soft top. Details also include integrated fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and 18” Carrera IV wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2023. The seller states the front bumper and left fender have been replaced. Minor stone chips are noted, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage in December 2013.
The Stone Grey standard leather interior features heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory as well as a heated steering wheel, self-dimming mirrors, and interior-colored floor mats. Additional options include the Bose High-End Sound Package, XM Radio, a Bluetooth interface for mobile phones, and a Universal Audio Interface. All gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission sending up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The seller adds that all manufacturer-recommended maintenance items have been performed, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 25 service entries.
This sale will include a clean title, two keys, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a wind deflector.

@Gwozy3344 I just went into the back and lowered the top. The clam shell shuts completely and is flush all the way around. I think it is the angle of the picture that makes it appear to not be flush. I will upload a few more pictures and a video of its operation.

@Gwozy3344 I will lower the top today and take a look at it. We were putting top up and down for the picture shoot and may just be we didn’t close all the way. I will double check and get back to you. Either way the clam shell is def adjustable.

@9NEIN1 The tires were changed in 2023 at 55,586 miles. The Plugs and coils were done 2019 at 40,969 miles.
To are knowledge the PDK oil was flushed and replaced in 2020 at 47,690 miles.
If I had to pick out some flaws it would be that the rear bumperettes have 2 small paint chips in each one and the front bonnet has a few has some chips that have been dabbed with touch up and are not really visible. Really can’t find any flaws with the interior.

@dcfate4x the leather on both fronts seats is identical and as delivered new. The car is equipped with front ventilated seats which is why they are perforated. Its is very hard to see in the pictures but I assure you they are the same.
The drivers seat is perforated leather while the others are not, do you know the reason?
