Marking the inaugural year of the updated 997.2 and its more powerful direct fuel-injected engine, this 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and wears a Miami Blue vinyl wrap over Aqua Blue Metallic paint. The car was factory optioned with a Stone Grey interior, heated/ventilated seats, and exclusive painted trim and has been fitted with an upgraded Brombacher exhaust as well as 20” aftermarket wheels. Showing approximately 65k miles on the odometer this 997.2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This 997.2 was factory finished in Aqua Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue cabriolet roof and features a removable Miami Blue vinyl wrap over the full exterior. The brake calipers have been painted yellow and the car rides on a set of gloss-black 20” aftermarket wheels dressed in Hankook Ventus tires. The seller notes a minor dent behind the driver’s rear quarter panel as well as a small paint chip and a dent on the front hood. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Stone Grey interior includes optional heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats along with painted trim strips and a rear center console in the exterior color. Other accessories include a Universal Audio Interface, Bluetooth Phone Interface, dual-zone automatic climate control, and power windows and mirrors. The seller notes some scratches on interior surfaces and that a removable steering wheel wrap has been installed.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. An upgraded Brombacher exhaust has been installed and the seller states the brake pads and rotors were replaced within the last 2k miles. Additional maintenance history is available on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title.

@jbpcar
Can you please post pics of top fold wear points and comment on top condition/operation please?
@jbpcar Not sure, but once again thank you.
@gman111111 Look up aetna blue. It is another soft blue from the past.
@jbpcar I once had a '62 VW Bug with a canvas sunroof painted in a soft blue (almost like a powder blue) that I never quite saw again, although others on certain Porsches came close. Perhaps you can help? I'd really appreciate it.

@luis.seneriz I reached out to my installer to get an exact quote but I think it’s about 1k. I’ll confirm.
Paint is in good condition. I’ll add photos of all blemishes documented in the PPI I received when purchasing. The aqua blue is awesome and I’m also a fan of all the blues. Maritime, shark, tahoe, gulf, mexico, and of course, riveria! I just sold an Amazon “green” 968 but I’ll count is as a blue also. Really cool color.
Seller can you comment on the condition of the original paint? I personally like the darker blues. Ie Mexico , shark, cobalt, etc. Also do you have an idea of what it would cost to remove the wrap. I recently replaced the ppf in front of my turbo and it was removed by dry ice, $500.

@luis.seneriz Car was wrapped in inozetek Miami blue in March of 2021.
How long ago was the car wrapped? Thanks
Thanks to anyone checking out my auction! This is a super fun 997.2 manual cabriolet that I am only selling b/c I picked up a 2017 Targa 4 (also manual, one day I'll learn how to drive PDK but not til I have to!). I am happy to answer any questions you all have. I'll get a video up when I get back in town as the exhaust is definitely worth a listen.
