Introduced for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation debuted a lightning-quick dual-clutch PDK transmission and a more reliable direct fuel-injected flat-six engine. This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is finished in Black over a matching interior and features 19” Turbo wheels, Dynamic Cornering Lights, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, heated Leather Sport Seats, and more. Showing less than 83k miles on the odometer, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
Compared to the Carrera model, the 4S presents the widened body style of the 911 Turbo model, a rear reflector strip connecting the taillights, red brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Black with optional Dynamic Cornering Lights and 19” Turbo II wheels. The seller notes paintless dent repair was performed to address hail damage in 2024, as shown on the CARFAX report. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The black-upholstered cabin offers optional heated Leather Sport Seats, a model logo-embossed storage compartment lid, and interior-colored floor mats. Additional selections include a Bluetooth Phone Interface, a navigation module for PCM, XM Radio, self-dimming mirrors, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Carrera 4S accelerates from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.3 seconds. Modifications include a Fabspeed air intake, a Fabspeed exhaust, and a center radiator. The seller adds that, in addition to regular fluid changes, the following services have been carried out:
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and two keys.
The seller would like you to know: “If you're looking for a garage queen 997, then this isn't it. Instead, this is the one you take to work every day teach your kids to drive fast in, do donuts in the snow, or take it to the track. You get the point. This is a driver's car with some high-quality mods and a very extensive service history since 2012. It has never had PPF or a respray. You could leave it as is and enjoy the car (I would), or you can get a respray or paint correction if that's important to you. Either way, you are looking at a well-maintained car with the 9A1 motor and a PDK transmission, both of which have many tens of thousands of miles and smiles left in them. I have personally put 50 or so miles on it between service visits, and it is an absolute blast to drive! Good luck and enjoy the auction,”

Of course it is. Bit to high. $42k is about right.
Still for sale, and entertaining offers!
Bid in the amount of $42,000
Would’ve sold if it was a 997.1, but it’s not!
Still a ways to go

@TomSesto okay, I have a message out to my shipper. Thanks
Bid in the amount of $40,500
We are getting closer to reserve but not there yet. Just a reminder that we got new rear brake rotors and pads, rebalanced the tires, did an alignment. Car needs nothing other than a new owner as of now!

Manhattan Beach. 90266.
@TomSesto can do either, but would recommend enclosed. Wish it was $1200. Other side of the country, so I’d say anywhere from $2200 - $3k.
I work with a very good shipper and don’t mark up the rates. Can get you an estimate with a zip code.

I’m still available to do a video call for any bidders who’d like a close up view and go over each panel.
Getting lots of questions on the smoothness of the panels for wraps and re-sprays. I would personally enjoy the car as is, but for those who care - the panels are all smooth and will take well to a paint or wrap. There is extensive pitting on the front hood and bumper, and other panels have minimal pitting. Doesn’t appear to be deep but it’s there. I’m no wrap expert but I don’t see any deep pits or scratches or dents.
Hope this helps.

@CarDragon thankfully no missing parts! And nothing important broken.

Broken parts, worn parts, new parts, missing parts... I appreciate a seller's transparency as I feel it makes for a more authentic representation for an auction and usually not seen in person purchase. Just my $.02.
@TomSesto Figured it’s on brand for the ‘well worn’ personality of this car. Happy to throw in a new one for the next owner if it helps.
Funny. That is a positive I guess. Thought you might want to replace that. Assume it is not a hard part to find.
@TomSesto C’mon what? Would you rather that we hide it? It still works, for what it’s worth.
@TomSesto it’s not licensed and registered. No warning lights. We already performed whatever service was needed. I’m unsure whether the fabspeed stuff will pass smog in CA but in MA it’s good to go.
Is that the glove box handle that is broken? C'mon.
Bid in the amount of $25,250
Me too. Is it currently licensed and registered in Mass. Any warning lights on. Does it require being smogged there. Would need to be here and FabSpeed may not pass. You are a seller/dealer so any known problems with the car?
@Justin57 We do not.
Do you have the original intake? I’m in CA and would have to smog.
@Drjay71 Sure, I’m okay with a PPI any time. Thanks

Took an impromptu driving video today that the PcarMarket team will upload shortly. It's not great because we're right by the city and there is always traffic. But you can see the the car pulls hard, shifts are nice and crisp, and it makes all the right sounds! The 9A1 + PDK combo is just incredible. Such a blast to hoon around in. Enjoy!
@audipwr1 Beater, commuter, track car, weekend warrior. Your choice.
We acquired it because of the available service history, knowing that it was well taken care of. We even spent our own $$ getting an alignment and new brakes so the next owner can rest assured that it needs nothing else as of now. I have driven all sorts of 997.2's, and this one drives no different from an equivalent lower mileage car. Fabspeed stuff doesn't hurt, either.
Thanks
Bid in the amount of $23,250
Thanks - appreciate the candor.
Seems like a good "beater" 911 - will watch / bid
@audipwr1 The car was traded in to a dealer from whom we purchased it. All the receipts we uploaded came with the car, and the hail damage info was passed on by the selling dealer. Panels and paint are original, so PDR is very likely.
Wish I could be more helpful but, like I said, all the info we have is already in the listing. I know you're local, so come check it out or get a PPI done if you're interested. Thanks
Where do you see that the damage is hail? I dont see that on carfax or on the receipts? Odd to have every single receipt for the car except the one that shows what was repaired for a moderate carfax hit?

@Scheinrs - You can contact me directly by using the 'contact seller' button or by visiting the website with the same name as my username. Thanks
@iconrpm that would be great.
@Scheinrs If you have time tomorrow, we could also do a video call to go over the car and all the details.
@Scheinrs we do not have those, unfortunately. I can tell you that they did a great job, though! You're welcome to get a PPI done if you can schedule it ASAP. We only have 2 days remaining on the auction. Thanks
HAIL DAMAGE, Ahhh. Thank you, @seller. That makes sense. Can you procure the invoice/work-order for the PDR and the insurance-adjusters report?
@Scheinrs It was hail damage that was PDR'd (paintless dent repair). Consequently, all panels and paint are original on this car. Please see detailed pics and video - Happy to provide more as needed.
As for track time, it was certainly tracked but we aren't sure how many times. All invoices that are available have been posted. We do not have any other invoices.
Hope this helps. Thanks!
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@seller: I note that it's been inspected for track duty. How much track time has it seen and how many of the owners tracked it?
Additionally, where is the 2024 invoice for the post-damage repairs?
What are the details of the June-2024 accident/moderate damage?
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
Welcome to this auction, folks! Did my best to be fully transparent and straightforward in the listing. Happy to send more pics, take videos, or anything else. I already have a few visitors lined up to view the car this weekend and early next week. Would encourage you to reach out with any questions and also act quickly if you're interested in a PPI, shipping quote, or a trade-in appraisal. Thanks and good luck!
