The first Mercedes-Benz to feature “Magno” matte paint, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG Edition IWC was produced in a limited series of 200 examples worldwide to showcase the brand’s partnership with Swiss watchmaker IWC. It features Designo Magno Cashmere White paint complemented by Tobago Brown AMG Premium Leather upholstery and comes standard with the AMG Performance Package, 19” AMG forged light alloy wheels, the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, illuminated door sills, a folding panoramic roof, heated and ventilated multicontour seats, Parktronic, Airscarf, and more. This example is one of only 63 said to have been imported to the U.S. and was purchased by the seller, its third registered owner, in 2015. Meticulously maintained by a reputable Mercedes-Benz specialist including a recent head bolt upgrade, this rare SL63 AMG Edition is now being offered for auction out of Georgia with approximately 34k miles showing on the odometer.
The SL63 AMG features an AMG aerodynamic package with a unique front spoiler, side skirts, rear valence, and trunk lid spoiler. The Edition IWC is presented in Designo Magno Cashmere White with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. It also comes with AMG-branded brake calipers, AMG chrome tailpipes, a power-folding panoramic glass roof, active bi-xenon headlamps, an electronic trunk closer, and 19” AMG Twin 5-Spoke forged light alloy wheels. The seller indicates the car has been garage-kept under their ownership, was barely driven in the rain, and has never been subjected to track use. The vehicle has also been hand-washed using specialty products formulated for matte paint. Two small imperfections are noted on a front fender, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Edition IWC features black and Tobago Brown AMG Premium Leather upholstery with matte carbon fiber trim, AMG illuminated door sills, heated and ventilated multicontour seats, a two-tone AMG Performance steering wheel, and an IWC logo near the climate controls. Other accessories include Airscarf neck warmers, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable steering column, an AMG instrument cluster, AMG floor mats, Parktronic park assist, Keyless-GO entry, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and a COMAND infotainment system with navigation.
This SL63 AMG is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter M156 V8 engine that sends up to 518 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes the AMG Performance Package wth a limited-slip differential, AMG Active Body Control (ABC) suspension, AMG sport exhaust, and an AMG high-performance braking system with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear, paired with rotors measuring 14.2” and 13” respectively. The seller indicates the Mercedes-Benz specialists at Centennial Motors have maintained the car, and the common head bolt issue has been addressed with upgraded bolts and new lifters installed in January 2024.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, sales literature, a toolkit, an air pump, a spare tire, and a clean title.

The right side mirror had to be replaced and was painted to match. The rest of the paint is all original.

No error codes. Service is up to date. Car will pass emission and safety inspections. I have meticulously maintained her. Even my service guy scratched his head when yearly I would have him change oil and filter with less than 1500 miles driven. It’s a great car.

Thanks for this information. I do not have a window sticker for this car. Made( evidently ) a bad assumption, that the articles portrayed all IWC Special editions. All I know is that it is more horsepower and car is great performance vehicle. And great looking as well. Id like to know more about build sheet codes. Are you able to get this from the VIN or where? Thanks again.
Hello, the build sheet does not show the performance package on any of the codes. Do you have the window sticker for this car? From what I have researched, the cars sent to to the US with the IWC package do not have the performance package that includes uprated speed limiter, positive traction rear end, and larger brakes. There is an identical car on BAT that has been shown not to have that package. Might need to further check on this as to not be falsely advertising a package that the car does not have. @TK1 @pcarmarket
