Launched for the 2006 model year, the C6-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was equipped with a new 7.0-liter V8 LS7 engine, the largest-displacement small block engine ever produced. This 2008 example was acquired by the seller about 7 years ago with approximately 8k miles on the odometer and has since been custom painted and modified with a Supervettes widebody kit as well as a rebuilt engine featuring forged intervals, an MSD intake manifold, a Stage 3 camshaft package, Hinson motor mounts, a 103mm throttle body, American Racing headers, a Dewitt’s radiator, and much more. The car has also been fitted with aftermarket forged wheels, an MGW shifter, a custom sound system, and LG Motorsports G2 coilovers and sway bars. Now showing just under 25k miles on the odometer, this modified Z06 is now being offered for auction out of South Carolina.
This Z06 has been fitted with a ZR6X widebody kit from Supervettes featuring fiberglass fenders measuring 6” wider in the rear and 3” wider in front. The car has been completely refinished in a custom shade of red and fitted with an APR Performance carbon fiber rear wing, a ZR1-style front splitter, a ZR6X rear diffuser, a ZR6X vented hood, a dual center pipe exhaust, clear LED taillights, an LED third brake light, black headlamp housings, green-painted brake calipers, and aftermarket 20” Nutek forged wheels. The seller notes that the exterior remains in very good overall condition apart from some minor stone chips. Details images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Corvette is appointed with two-tone Linen grey and black leather upholstery. Accessories include sport bucket seats with Z06-embroidered headrests, Corvette-logo door sills, a microfiber-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, aluminum pedals, carbon center console trim, an MGW shifter, automatic climate control, an engine start button, an aftermarket Sony head unit with an integrated backup camera, and a custom sound system with an amplifier and a 10” JL Audio subwoofer.
The naturally aspirated 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine drives the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential and 3.42 rear axle ratio. Rated at 505 HP stock, the engine in this Corvette has been rebuilt and upgraded with ported and polished heads, stainless-steel exhaust valves, bronze valve guides, Brian Tooley chromoly pushrods, Johnson 2110 lifters, ARP head bolts, a Redline Stage 3 Z06 cam package, Hinson motor mounts, a GM oil cooler kit, an MSD Atomic intake manifold and fuel rails, an NW 103mm throttle body, a K&N cold air intake, American Racing long-tube headers, a Mighty Mouse catch can, and a Dewitt’s radiator. The suspension has also been upgraded with LG Motorsports G2 coilovers and sway bars. Build invoices are provided for reference in the gallery along with a dyno test report showing an output of over 570 HP. The seller notes the rebuilt engine has been used for approximately 1,500 miles.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a battery charger, records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A one-off build with full documentation. The engine has about 1500 miles on it. Great car you can drive anywhere. Draws unbelievable attention. About 60k in the build itself not including the price of the car itself.”

I bet this thing would give a Ferrari 458 Challenge a run for its money on track, probably even faster!
Bid in the amount of $12,750
@Oddestball The car was damaged before the original owner had the build, those body panels were going to be replaced anyway. As far as the airbag you can kick the bumper hard enough and the bag will deploy, just watch Reacher. Where does it state there was a second LS7? The cam was to aggressive so I had the motor pulled out and replaced everything but the crank.

Thanks for the quick response, sounds fun. Id definitely track it!! 👍. Keeping an eye on this GLWA
@GWhuffalo the car was never tracked but it definitely could
I really like this build, even the huge rear wing! The color and interior combo looks great as well. Was the car tracked? Won’t affect my desire to buy, because all the aero and diffuser makes it appear to be a HPDE track type build. “Fine with me “ @Timrichmond Thanks in advance for your time
