This 2008 Audi B7 RS 4 Cabriolet comes finished in a specially-ordered Daytona Matte Gray over a black leather interior with silver stitching and features a 6-speed manual transmission. Introduced in 2007 as the ultimate high-performance Cabriolet version of the A4, the RS 4 was reportedly produced in just 333 units for North America. This example is said to have been displayed as Audi's show car for the 2008 Los Angeles International Auto Show. It was reportedly driven by the President of Audi North America before being sold to its original owner by Audi of Manhattan. Purchased by the current owner earlier this year as part of a rotating collection, this Cabriolet shows approximately 9k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The B7 RS4 uses a galvanized steel unibody with widened fenders, a more aggressive front and rear fascia, and larger frontal side air intakes when compared to a standard A4 or S4. This example was specially ordered in Daytona Matte Gray (X7A). The factory 19” seven-spoke wheels come wrapped in Continental tires from 2013 that are noted to have less than 2k miles. The seller adds that the convertible top hydraulics have been replaced. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features black leather with silver stitching, RS 4-badged backrests, and black floor mats with silver piping. Details specific to the RS4 include stainless steel RS 4-branded door sills, RS4-branded instrumentation, and a three-spoke RS4 steering wheel wrapped in perforated leather. Carbon-fiber trim lines the dashboard, door panels, and center console. All gauges and accessories are reported to be working properly.
A naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine produces 420 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque stock while revving to over 8,000 RPM. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual gearbox and Audi’s Quattro All-Wheel Drive system. Standard performance equipment includes electronic differential lock and stabilization programs, an RS 4 sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, RS 4 enhanced brakes, and Sevrotronic power steering. The seller notes the vehicle has been serviced by Audi of Manhattan and an independent specialist.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, three keys, the original wind deflector, partial service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is an exceptional one-owner investment grade Audi RS4 Cabriolet with single-digit miles, in a phenomenal color combination making it a 1-of-1 car. In great hands since new, always taken care of. Will be a great addition to any collection but will also give many miles of smiles."

@Luckyme2022 - date codes are from 2013 - have less than 2k miles on them.
When were they replaced?
@Luckyme2022 - no.
Are these the original tires?
@Carrerafan - Dirt.
@Carrerafan -
Car has had annual oil changes and is serviced up to date.
No ppf.
It is 100 percent original paint - readings are higher as the paint is thicker.
Paint has never been polished and is in outstanding condition.
Ding will come out without issue - I decided to leave that as well as the marks on the wheels for the next owner to handle as they wish to.
@PlaPan Also is that dirt behind the wheel well/on the rocker in photo 61 or scraping/staining?
@PlaPan last service was in 2019? Any paint protection film on the car? Paint meter readings -- was there touch up paintwork given readings from 8.2 to 11? Did you look into suctioning or tapping out the ding on the passenger rear quarter panel? Matte paint in good condition with no polishing? thanks

@carterruss - thank you for pointing out the error in the registry.
Pcar has added them to the gallery.
It is the only one in North America confirmed - also Audi Germany was not able to confirm that there is another one like it in the RoW production.
Definitely be good to add as I would say outside of the low miles, this is probably the only Matte DG car so truly 1 of 1.

@carterruss - Registry is not correct on the color.
Audi of Manhattan sold it without the window sticker (I am told it never had one), there is no option sticker in the trunk (nothing was glued on).
I have confirmed with a contact at Audi Germany that this RS4 was special ordered in this color with the silver stitching and silver piping on the floor mats.
Have the build sheet in German and also a confirmation specifically on the individual paint option and the color code.
Will have them added to the picture gallery - if anyone wants to see them in the meantime you can pm me your email address will send.
Would be curious to see the window sticker or the option label in the trunk (under that foam tray on the right usually)? Was unaware of any Matte Cabs in the US. Registry shows this as an Avus Silver car (which could be wrong). The door panels also show exclusive tags here would be the deviated stitching on the seats vs the normal piping.
@Cuj0 - will do.
Could you add a picture or two of the undercarriage?
