We are pleased to offer this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a special two-tone Black and Terracotta full leather interior. Debuted at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the 997 Turbo carried over the tried-and-true 3.6L Mezger engine design and was the first Porsche production car to feature Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) turbochargers. This launch-year example comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission along with optional supple leather seats, leather-wrapped air vents, and Sport Chrono Package Turbo. It was sold new in Alabama at an original sticker price of over $130k and has resided with the current owner in New York since 2016. Routinely serviced by an authorized Porsche dealer and upgraded with a Fabspeed exhaust system, this outstanding 997 Turbo is now being offered for auction with approximately 6k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997 comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic and sports wide fenders, integrated side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, red-painted brake calipers, and chrome Fabspeed exhaust tips. The forward portion of the nose has been preserved under clear paint protection and the seller adds the full exterior received a ceramic coating within the last year. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The factory 19” 911 Turbo wheels remain dressed in their original Bridgestone Potenza RE-050A tires.
The cabin is appointed with Black and Terracotta full leather upholstery including an Alcantara headliner. Leather trim extends from the upper dashboard to the air vents, door panels, and rear compartment. The rear center console is factory painted in Basalt Black Metallic to match the exterior, while the gear lever comes in an aluminum-look finish. A Sport Chrono stopwatch dial is mounted on the center dashboard and the footwells are lined with matching Terracotta carpet floormats. The seats are trimmed in optional supple leather upholstery and minimal signs of wear are present on the bolsters. A few minor scuff marks can be seen on the painted center console as well as some signs of wear on the ignition surround.
This 997 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. As much as 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque stock are distributed to all four wheels, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3.5 seconds and a top speed north of 190 MPH. The optional Sport Chrono Package is equipped as well as an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust system which eliminates the catalytic converters and provides increased sound and power output. A check engine light is present as a result of the aftermarket exhaust system and the car is not emissions compliant in its current state, although the original exhaust system is said to accompany the sale. The car has been maintained by Porsche Amityville under the current ownership since 2016 and a collection of service records is provided in the gallery along with images of the undercarriage.
This sale will include owner's manuals, service records, a set of keys, the original exhaust, and a clean title. With its incredible color combination, 6-speed manual gearbox, and very low mileage, this 997 Turbo makes a fine addition to any Porsche collection.

@userabc123 Just to chime in. I’ve seen this car in person and it has clearly been loved and well taken care of since new. The seats? They are like brand new. Like @ JTaylorGT said, the supple leather comes like that from the factory.
Basalt black is killer and the photos don’t do it justice. The terracotta interior with the painted tunnel is wow! Anyway… GL2 ALL
@userabc123 if you are referring to the wrinkles in the leather seats, that’s because this car has the supple leather option - it comes like that from the factory.
@userabc123 what picture are you referring to the seats have no signs of wear they are in mint condition. . I can try to get info on the tires tomorrow they are in good shape.
I have several 997 cars with similar miles. Can owner explain why the seats look like 35k mikes not 6k. Also tire date codes

Bid in the amount of $73,500
@Pjturbo Wasn’t “ trying “ to say anything. I had missed the pics on the underside when looking from my phone at first. Looks like an exceptional car good luck with the sale.
Bid in the amount of $69,420
Also would like to see DME report before bidding.
Bid in the amount of $66,333
@Hardhattg there are pics posted of undercarriage pic 87-92. Are you not able to see them on the site ? The car is at pcar they photographed it last week for me. If you are trying to say they are old pics you clearly see the fab speed exhaust from under neath that was installed December of last year the reciept is in pic 100. I can get more pics uploaded on Monday they are closed for the holiday weekend.
@Pjturbo thanks for that info. Is there any chance of adding pics of beneath car ?
@Hardhattg the car spent most of its life in Alabama. I purchased it in 2016 and it’s been in my temp control garage the 5 years it spent in NY. The car has never seen NY rain I put 1500 miles on the car going to car meets or weekend drives.
Would love to see pics of people underside of car considering it being a New York car all its life. Would like to check for corrosion
@SofiaLeo No accidents no paintwork the car is in mint condition
Seller Nice Turbo! Has the car ever been in any accidents or had any type of paint work? Thank you
@Check21 I am trying to get one. having a tough time with the holiday.
@LoopsGT. The only way to determine clutch life on a 997TT is to remove it...which is not easy and is not something that a seller would do. And as autouomo wrote, there is no IMS bearing in these cars.
Interested in seeing a DME Report prior to bidding.
@LoopsGT - The Mezger engine used in the Turbo models did not have the IMS issue.
What is clutch life remaining?
Bid in the amount of $65,000
An issues with IMS bearing, was conversion done?
@Pump993 I will have the car serviced and the original exhaust put back on before delivered to new owner. I don’t think I would be able to get it done before the auction is over with the holiday. I only put exhaust I didn’t tune car it will not have problem passing smog test
Bid in the amount of $60,000
@Pjturbo Will you be able to get the stock exhaust installed and get the car smog tested before the end of this auction ?. Without the stock exhaust and passing smog test you won't be able to get this car in California
Bid in the amount of $52,500
Bid in the amount of $50,000
I didnt know the fabspeed exhaust would trigger check engine light when installed. its been driven 100 miles since exhaust was put on I plan on putting stock exhaust back on the car.
Who in their right state of mind disables the emissions system on one of these cars? And this car, with super low mileage and unique look?
