@cavediver32043 - Used Oil Report?!?! Car is serviced regularly, oil changed often.
Do you have a recent Used Oil Analysis Report
@Jmingst - Hey over the weekend, I went through all the paperwork on the car, Multiple pages at dealer for multiple repairs: Rear Shocks/ struts , Bushings, oil changes, 4 wheel alignment & full engine tune up . In the full engine tune up section it states Drive axel, Bearings and Joints all checked, no issues. Final Recommendations for needed repairs at the time were: Replace rear struts and mounts, Alignment of all 4 wheels, Completed 8/10/18.
This car is very well Maintained and up-to-date, Please be aware that this car is probably the best 997 CS2 you will find on the market.

@Martiniman oh yes I’m acutely aware of the bearing change. That is why I asked the question. The owner has stated it was changed. It’s a huge job they need to support the claim. This redesign is better than the earlier engines with less failure but there is still a chance.
@Martiniman Isn't this the so-called L&N Engineering kit? Also, the engines potentially affected can be found on the interwebs.... google it, or search 997 forum on Rennlist.
@Jmingst IMS bearing was non-serviceable from mid-2005 to 2008MY. This generation had the large bearing though that was improved. You would have to spit the case to change it. You can remove the outer IMS seal and as an option put in a direct-oil feed kit to lubricate the bearing.

@Jmingst - I went through all the paperwork, Does not state IMS Bearings done. Reagrdless, Engine runs smooth and pulls strong. Multiple inspections carried out, with no need for IMS bearings to be addressed.
Can you dig through your receipts for the IMS bearing job. Would like to see what was put in and what else was addressed. If you know this is the silent killer. You can’t hear it not even a dealer. These jobs typically cost about 3k.
If IMS has been done it should have the sticker attached to the drivers door frame or be on one of the service records

@AndrewS - Yes I have a folder full of service records.
@AndrewS - I believe the IMS Bearings were replaced by Dealer before we owned the car. She runs like a top, havent had any issues.
