Finished in Seal Grey Metallic over Stone Grey full leather upholstery, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S was factory-configured with an optional Aerokit, Custom Tailoring (special wishes that require further communication), heated Adaptive Sport Seats, and more. Pairing a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.8-liter flat-six, this tastefully appointed Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 16k miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and features the optional Aerokit package, including a revised front apron, a front spoiler, and a fixed rear wing. Equipment also includes bi-xenon headlights with headlamp washers, fog lights, an electric sunroof, quad exhaust outlets, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. Additionally, clear side markers have been fitted along with 19” Sport Design wheels wrapped in staggered-width Bridgestone tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin features Stone Grey full leather upholstery with matching floor mats and heated power-adjustable Adaptive Sport Seats with driver memory functions. Accessories include a three-spoke leather steering wheel, a leather-covered gear knob, an Alcantara headliner, automatic climate control, cruise control, a CD stereo, and PCM with navigation.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard equipment includes VarioCam Plus, force-sensitive power steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and four-wheel disc brakes with fixed 4-piston calipers and 330mm cross-drilled rotors. The CARFAX report shows a total of 16 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.

Unfortunately just slightly above my available spending at the moment but really wanted this one. Beautiful spec. Good luck with sale and thank you to PCar and K2 for the opportunity.
Bid in the amount of $72,000
@PCARMARKET I refreshed about 10 times and even right now the page still says processing 20 mins after the auction has closed. Seems like it glitched to me
@stealswheels you may have had a stale page, the bids come in real-time, thank you.
Wait it showed my bid of $66k as the high bid the entire countdown until the clock hit 0 then changed to $67. WTH was that about?!?!

Bid in the amount of $65,000
I’m stunned at the As New condition of this awesome Porsche. I had an ’06 C2S Cab and I babied that car. I don’t think it looked this good. I also think this color combo is an excellent choice.
Still holding out for the right time for me. But someone’s going to be happy.
I am the previous owner of this car in NY.
When I purchased the car with 14,XXX miles, the following services were completed:
New Coil packs/Sparkplugs
New Engine Mounts
Fresh Driven DT40 Oil / Filter
Car is paint corrected/Ceramic coated.
Car was stored in climate controlled garage.
Car is also equipped with factory short shift kit as well.
The rear badge is a OEM 992 Porsche badge. I prefer this badging to the slim scripted 997/996 style of the time. You can easily replace it with the OEM badging from Porsche if you desire.
Bumper Plugs were there when I purchased vehicle.
IMS bearing is larger non-serviceable bearing. (Far More reliable than the smaller bearing)
The car was a joy to own and never had an issue. The above maintenance was done as a preventative measure not that is was needed. It was sold back to Ryan and I purchased a Widebody 997 to add to my other 997 Aero.
Hopefully that adds some clarity for parties interested.

The badge on the engine deck lid is anything but original.
It should be Carrera S.
That one looks like what you see on 991 anniversary models.

I will have the DME report and compression test results today to post.
@Catdog2 - Thank you for that information.
@Serunderpar - @Nate2046 is correct. We have seen plenty of Porsches with front bumpers like this. Back where I grew up in CT, they required license plates on the front bumpers of the cars. Depending on the bracket, it had two or four holes. I believe those chunky black license plate holders that conformed to the bumper were four screws which would have matched this.
Unfortunately, to my knowledge, documented service records were not provided to my client when he bought the car from Ryan Freidman's dealership. The carfax lists it as being a well/thoroughly serviced car.
I do not know for certain about the 911 badge, but if I had to guess, it would have been Carrera S, as this 911 badge looks aftermarket. Maybe someone else can comment on this for certain.
The title is an NY Title, which will be reassigned by the dealer to the purchaser as the car is being sold on consignment by us.

@serunderpar My understanding is that the cars are shipped with the plate holder in the trunk then dealer installed in states that require the front plate. My new Aero bumper has two slight dimples where it would be drilled for the holder.
@nate2046 were the holes delivered on the car or did someone actually drill them?
Bid in the amount of $28,997
@serunderpar The four ‘bumper plugs’ are in exactly the same position as the front bumper on my 997 for the OEM front plate holder. The 911 on the deck lid is from a 992, so definitely a replacement.
This car looks immaculate, and the Aerokit, manual, coupes are the absolute pinnacle of non GT 997s.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
1. Do you have any documented service records or receipts for maintenance?
2. Do you have a window sticker with all options and MSRP?
3. Can you explain the four plugged holes in the front bumper? I’m assuming a license plate but the four hole locations seem odd.
4. Did the rear deck lid originally say “Carrera S” or was it optioned with this current “911” badge?
5. Can you please identify any and all “non-original” updates made to the car? (Wheels badging, exhaust, etc?).
6. Is the title / pink slip from a private party or dealer?
Thank you!
The listing has been updated.
@Tangerine997 - The car is here at our facility in Jupiter, FL.
@yobobdunn - I am more than happy to help facilitate someone pursuing a PPI on this car before the end of the auction. I could post a PPI on the car, but I find it a bit biased if that makes sense. We will, however, post a DME report on the car later this week.
@jmorin- We / the current owner, have not replaced the IMS bearing on the car, and I am unsure if it was done prior to his ownership. He purchased it from Ryan Friedman, and I do not see in that old listing on BaT whether he or his client did it before my client bought it. I will check the records here and report back.
Thank you for the questions!

Is the car in NY or Florida.
Bid in the amount of $5,500
Are you going to post a pre-purchased inspection report?
@sportscarguy3 Let's just address this directly.... @K2Motorcars, has the IMS bearing been done? If so, which solution was used? Thanks.
PS. I found the car fax report, six previous owners, very interesting with such low miles ?
Certainly well documented pictures of the car, the underside and paint meter readings
Well done seller
Good looking low mileage Carrera S
I certainly enjoyed my 2005 Carrera S for many years
I suppose, technically, the IMS bearing could be an issue in these early model 997 Carrera
And with only 16,000 miles they’re probably aren’t a lot of service records to review
Wondering if there’s been more than one previous owner
I believe that I’ve read somewhere that an oil change and going through the oil carefully looking for any signs of metal is one way to determine if there’s any IMS bearing issues
Any thoughts from you Porsche knowledgeable would be greatly appreciated
