Finished in Black over matching interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Coupe is factory equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to all four wheels along with the optional Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Adaptive Sport Seats. Additionally, this 997 has been customized with a GT3-style rear wing and front bumper, 19” multi-piece wheels, a short shifter, and Guards Red seatbelts. This Carrera 4 was acquired by the seller after its original owner in 2013 and is now being offered for auction out of California showing approximately 80k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Black and features a GT3-style front bumper and fixed rear wing, black quad exhaust tips, red-painted brake calipers, and custom 19” multi-piece wheels finished in black with polished outer lips. Optional bi-xenon headlights are equipped and the car rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted within the last 2k miles. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report showing a history of ownership in California from new. The seller adds that the car has been driven approximately 5k miles in the last 10 years, mainly for trips to various Porsche events and car shows.
The black interior is appointed with optional heated Adaptive Sport Seats as well as the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, Navigation for PCM, and a dash-mounted stopwatch as part of the Sport Chrono Package. Guards Reds seatbelts have been added along with a B&M short-throw shifter, Bluetooth receiver, and a LoJack recovery system. Common signs of wear are present on the climate control buttons and center console.
Rated at 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque, a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine sends power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The car was originally optioned with the Sport Exhaust System and the seller indicates the exhaust has been modified for additional sound. The CARFAX report includes a thorough maintenance history with the most recent recorded service at Porsche San Diego in 2021. The seller adds that a California emissions inspection was also passed in 2023.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and documentation.
The seller would like you to know: "I've owned four Porsches and this is the very best car I have ever driven. It looks fantastic!!! I hate to part with this car but I am downsizing to a smaller home with only two spots in the garage. This car would be a wonderful entry into Porsche Parade 2023 in Palm Springs."

@Mrosilio I have all the records but it would take all day to post them sorry
Also, why hasn't a cold start & driving video posted?
@NickMonroe Any chance you can post copies of the service records before the auction ends?
Thanks
@Sylverlee In looking at the old service record the first owner did replace the clutch
Any info about the clutch being original? Any service records you can share from the last 10 years of ownership?
Thanks
@bldn10 For sure ... especially young kids and older folks like me
@Bearharley I have no clue ... I've had this car 10 years and I never had any issues
any information on the IMS bearing?
This car is really high on the head turns per dollar scale!
Bid in the amount of $15,000
@Mercyhealth thank you! I was actually looking several days ago, and for some reason couldn't find it. But now I see it.
@Sylverlee tire dates are found in pics 45-48.
Wondering if the GT-3 could be removed or if it is a permanent fixture. May wish to have it either on or off at times. Thx.
Do you know if this car has the larger IMS bearing? Since it was produced in last 2005..
And if it's still on the original clutch? Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $9,971
@Sylverlee I could probably find that if it's important to you - off hand I do not know
Best of luck from another member of the 997 ownership club in San Diego. There's nothing to not like about these 997's.
Do you have the date codes for the tires?
No they are not. Nevertheless, they look fabulous.
I though they were HRE when I bought the car but they are not ... they are a competitor.
Beautiful. Are these HRE wheels?
