Acquired by the seller on PCARMARKET in 2023, this 996 is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 54k miles showing on the odometer.
The 4S sports wider fenders than the contemporary Carrera along with a unique rear reflector band and side skirts, bumpers, and red brake calipers shared with the 911 Turbo. This Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features optional xenon headlamps, stainless steel exhaust pipes, and 18” 911 Turbo wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Additional amenities include automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. Upgrades include a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) Plus head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Porsche 997 GT3 short shifter, and a 996 GT3 Alcantara shift boot & gear knob.
This Carrera 4S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine rated at 315 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission while stopping power comes from Turbo-derived fixed 4-piston brakes and 330mm cross-drilled discs at each corner. Under prior ownership, an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, new rear main seal, and new clutch were installed, along with upgraded Racing Dynamics headers, a Fister exhaust modification, and a Flat 6 Motorsports cold air intake. Upon the seller’s acquisition, new front brake rotors and pads, Bilstein shocks, and lowering springs were fitted.

Seems like a very nice driver, quality Porsche, 996 C 4S and with IMS, bearing replacement, new clutch, and other work modifications, performance upgrades seems like a very solid car
Surprised the bidding wasn’t a bit higher, although close to what I think the market might be
Hopefully the seller can you go Chiate a deal via deal tank, which is a great option here on Pcarmarket

@jkikis Where was this listed before?
The shifter looks like the regular 996 shifter. Can we verify the gt3 shifter and shifter know is there?

Looks like IMS, RMS, & clutch were done @ 38,510 in June 2022, along with a number of other services to the tune of $10k+, at Autometrics in Summerville, SC according to a previous listing
@Chuckieb12 hi from research i did with vin i found that everything was done
@jkikis - Thank you for the response. Appreciate it
@wcode hi as far as smog in your state i dont see an issue with exhaust but im not 100% sure about that. as far as ims and rear main seal no docs on that but with research from previous listing on this car it was stated was done at 41k miles
Another question - I'm confused on the statements of an LNE IMS retrofit. How was it determined such work was performed? Appears there is no documentation, yes/no?
Can the seller confirm/deny exhaust modification would be smog compliant as factory original? particularly state of California/CARB compliant?
Bid in the amount of $23,996
Bid in the amount of $23,246
@Chuckieb12 I hope the seller chimes in, especially on the IMS front. Proof of that would be fantastic.
@jkikis how do you know the IMS, Clutch and everything was done at 41k? The carfax is showing the clutch was serviced at 38k.
Bid in the amount of $22,996
Geez incorrect spoiler not bumper. So I need proof of incorrect bumper and hood painted. Sorry just been so upset at my treatment from local dealer.
@Jenny1435 hood not top sorry
I have a question for the seller about the 911 turbo cabriolet that he sold please. It’s important. I see where he stated the top had been painted and also the bumper is not correct and I need proof of this as I was not informed before I purchased it from a dealership that has been unfair and lied and I want to look for a newer 911 also at some point.
@jkikis how can you be sure that clutch, ims bearing, and rear main seal were done at 41k miles?
@Edward-YG hi the b8 performance plus and h&r sport springs
What type of bilstein shocks were fitted on this ?
@Bilinski4447 no receipt but found that clutch, ims bearing and rear main seal we’re all done at 41k miles
I wish you had a Blackstone report? do you know if the water pump has ever been replaced this is such a lovely car with all the work done. Absolutely everything you want in a 996.
Receipt available for IMS etc. work?
Bid in the amount of $22,500
hi from what i know its Racing dynamics headers Fister stock exhaust
What type of Fister exhaust ?
I was not aware that dual zone climate was offered in the 996 generation.
Bid in the amount of $22,222
