The G55 AMG represented the top performance trim of Mercedes-Benz’s G-Class lineup at the time, offering immense power and capability in the iconic boxy G-Wagen body style. This 2005 example is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery and is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case and three locking differentials. Notable features include 18″ AMG wheels, bi-xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, a power sunroof, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and more. Showing just under 67k miles on the odometer, this G55 AMG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This example is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic and is adorned with a polished brush guard, turn signal, and running boards. Additional features include bi-xenon headlights with washers, front and rear fog lights, a power-operated sunroof with a lift function, side-exit quad exhaust outlets, and rear parking sensors. It rides on 18” AMG two-tone wheels, fitted with Michelin AT tires bearing 2020 date codes. A covered spare tire is mounted on the swing-out rear cargo door. The seller reports that both fender flares have been refinished, and notes a few minor scratches on the edge of the rear bumper and driver-side fender flare. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the heated front seats and rear bench are upholstered in Designo black leather upholstery, complemented by wood trim on the center console, steering wheel, and door panels. Black trim accents the interior, along with amenities such as a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, AMG-branded door sills, carpeted floor mats, and navigation. The seller notes the headliner was replaced about two years ago due to minor sagging. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be working properly, with no warning lights illuminated.
Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter M113K V8 with all-aluminum construction and dual intercoolers, it delivers a factory-rated output of 500 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a full-time all-wheel-drive system. This system incorporates independently locking front, center, and rear differentials, controlled via switches on the center stack, while the vehicle's suspension features solid front and rear axles and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Recent servicing includes new spark plugs, cabin air filters, replacement side valve covers, and a new steering dampener.
This sale will include a window sticker, an air pump, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “It’s an honest rust-free and perfect condition car cosmetic and mechanical.”

@WReiter I know when we had it at 55k we did the front diff, not sure about the other two but the miles are low enough that changing all 3 again would have long term benefit.
Any idea when front and rear diffs, and transfer case, fluids were done?

I was asked for the reason why the Headliner was replaced two years ago, the headliner dropping a bit on this model is very common, its a big one piece Headliner and as the car ages the back part starts peeling a bit, this one wasn't too visible but it was starting so we had it redone.
