One of the defining exotic supercars of the 2000s, the Murcielago represented Lamborghini’s flagship V12 model from 2001 until 2010. This 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is finished in Rosso Andromeda over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 6.2-liter V12 engine paired with a 6-speed E-gear automatic manual transmission, an all-wheel-drive system, and a limited-slip differential. It features carbon fiber bodywork, xenon headlamps, scissor doors, automatically deploying “bat wing” air intakes, a removable soft top, active dampers, cross-drilled brake discs, quilted leather inserts, red stitching, paddle shifters, automatic climate control, a front axle lifter, and chrome 18” Hermera alloy wheels. The car was purchased by the owner in May 2022 and underwent a major engine-out service in 2024, including a new clutch, transmission shift solenoids, ignition coils, a new alternator, battery, and rear main seals. Showing approximately 18k miles on the odometer, this Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania.
Named after the Spanish word for “bat”, the Murcielago Roadster was designed by Luc Donckerwolke featuring a dramatic wedge-shaped profile, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and automatically deploying “bat wing" side air intakes. The bodywork is constructed mainly from carbon fiber, apart from the vertically hinged aluminum scissor doors. The Roadster variant employs a manually attached cloth roof panel, which can be folded and stowed in the front luggage compartment when not in use. This example is finished in Rosso Andromeda with a black soft top. Equipment includes xenon headlights, a pantograph windshield wiper, rear fog lights, a vented engine cover, dual center-mounted tailpipes, black Lamborghini-branded brake calipers, and chrome 18” Hermera alloy wheels. The car rides on Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 245/35 in the front and 335/30 at the rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with tan leather upholstery accented by a black leather dashboard, red deviated stitching, and quilted leather inserts on the seat centers, center armrest, and door panels. Accessories include manually adjustable bucket seats, inboard-mounted seatbelts, a black leather three-spoke steering wheel, paddle shifters, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, a front suspension lift button, and a Pioneer head unit with navigation and a backup camera.
This Lamborghini is equipped with a naturally aspirated mid-mounted 6.2-liter V12 that delivers up to 572 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed E-gear automated manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with cross-drilled brake discs, independent double-wishbone suspension, active dampers, and an aftermarket Borla exhaust system. The seller indicates a major engine-out service was performed in June 2024, including a new clutch, transmission shift solenoids, ignition coils, a new alternator, battery, rear main seals, an oil change, and a Pennsylvania state inspection.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car has been fully serviced, and everything on the car is in working order.”
