The Chevrolet SSR is a hardtop convertible pickup truck manufactured from 2003 to 2006, featuring retro styling inspired by Chevy’s Advance Design pickup trucks of the late 1940s and early 1950s. It comes equipped with a power-retractable steel hardtop designed by Karmann and an LS2 V8 producing up to 390 HP. This 2005 example comes finished in Smokin’ Asphalt over an Ebony interior and features an optional 6-speed manual transmission. Showing approximately 13k miles on the odometer, this SSR is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This SSR was ordered in Smokin’ Asphalt (41U). Equipment includes front fog lights, a power-operated retractable hardtop, a removable hard tonneau cover, a cargo area hard-liner, silver door handles, silver running boards, fender flares, and twin exhaust outlets. The chrome 19”/20” wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle tires from 2004. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in Ebony leather with a pair of bucket seats. Accessories include a leather-wrapped four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, power windows with a driver’s express-down function, keyless entry, air conditioning, and an electric rear window defogger. All gauges and electronics are said to be in proper working order.
Under the hood, the SSR is equipped with a 6.2L LS2 V8 factory rated at 390 HP and 305 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. In a test by Car and Driver, acceleration from 0-60 MPH was achieved in just 5.5 seconds. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Car runs and drives great, and is in great shape for the year.”
