Following a 14-year hiatus, the BMW 6-Series reentered the market in 2003. This 2005 BMW 645Ci Convertible (E64) is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.4-liter V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and comes finished in Alpine White over Cream Beige leather upholstery. With less than 35k miles on the odometer, this second-generation 6-Series is now available for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
The E63/E64 features an aluminum hood and door panels as well as lightweight thermoplastic fenders and a sheet molding compound (SMC) trunk lid. This 645Ci comes finished in Alpine White with a black power-retractable soft top. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, a rear spoiler lip, dual exhaust outlets, and 19” Style 121 alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the 2+2 cabin is outfitted in Cream Beige leather upholstery complemented by dark wood trim. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver position memory, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a 4.4-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine. As much as 329 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission. Stopping is provided by ventilated disc brakes at each corner. The CARFAX report shows a total of 13 service history entries, and the seller states all necessary routine maintenance has been performed.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car was only driven in nice weather. Not a daily driver, just on weekends or on days off. Sorry for not having service records. No major work ever needed, just routine maintenance.”

When the pictures were taken, the battery was very low from setting and not being used. I did not have a tender on the battery. The battery was fully charged and load tested and checked out good. The lights on the dash went off. Not really sure if that had anything to do with it. Checked it this morning and the lights are not on, and the car started up fine.
I see that the dash has “service engine soon” and has lights for locked steering and warning symbol. Can you explain why those symbols are showing? I’d like to know which issues need attention. Thanks
