We are pleased to present this low-mileage 2004 996 Turbo Cabriolet.  Carrying the legendary GT1-derived Mezger engine along with a 6-speed manual transmission, this Turbo represents one of the more desirable water-cooled 911’s to date.  This two-owner example is now being offered for auction in exceptional condition, showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer by a dealer in Ohio.

This 996 makes a statement in its factory Speed Yellow finish.  Records and paint meter readings can confirm that this Turbo is accident-free while retaining fully original paint.  The seller states that the exterior of this vehicle remains in pristine condition, showing to be free of any unsightly flaws or imperfections.  This car is reportedly bone stock with the exception of period correct BBS 3-piece alloy wheels.  A recent service included the replacement of a faulty hydraulic rear wing system with E-ram wing actuators for a virtually permanent fix.  The factory black cabriolet top is fully functional and free of any tears or blemishes.  This is a truly well-presented example.

Upon entering the cockpit, the driver is greeted with a black full leather interior that remains totally original and in excellent condition.  There have been no unsightly imperfections noted throughout the interior and the seat bolsters show to be free of excessive wear.  Carrying an MSRP of $129,795, this Turbo comes equipped with a remote 6-disc CD changer and black floor mats with Porsche lettering.  The seller states that all accessories and electronics are fully functional with no issues that need to be addressed.

Originally developed for the 911 GT1 Le Mans car, the Mezger engine is hailed by many Porsche enthusiasts as the ultimate water-cooled engine.  Utilizing a true dry sump and crank driven oil pumps, this remarkable power plant resists oil surge during hard cornering.  Furthermore, the Mezger engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication.  This 996’s 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine delivers 420HP to all four wheels via a crisp 6-speed manual transmission, allowing for a 0-60 time of just 4.2 seconds.  A full service was recently performed at Steinel's Autowerks, which included the replacement of the clutch accumulator along with an oil/filter change.  This Turbo is said to run strong and without any issues.

Included in the sale of this superb 996 Turbo will be 2 sets of keys, all associated books and documentation and a Carfax report confirming this vehicle’s accident-free history.  Prepared for prompt delivery to its new owner, this 996 will be accompanied by a clear Ohio title.  Incredibly well-preserved, this 996 makes the perfect addition to any collection or enthusiast's garage.

@Mercyhealth guess you weren't serious as finding a nice manual in speed yellow over a set of wheels that you can probably find for $1k makes ZERO sense

I’m out. I love the speed yellow and great interior. I would have replace the rims and that could get to 2 plus k more. Good luck to the seller and future buyer it’s a sweet turbo with manual a dying breed. Even though you can still get 6 and 7 speeds Porsches not in a turbo. Too bad
