Now available for auction is this 2003 Mercedes-Benz S500 wearing Brilliant Silver Metallic paint over an Alpaca Grey leather interior. Designated internally as the "W220" chassis, the fourth-generation S Class was produced from 1998 until 2006 in North America, receiving a mid-lifecycle facelift in late 2002. This S500 is a post-facelift example, receiving updated exterior styling cues like lighting changes and a new front fascia, as well as interior updates to the COMAND system and other features. This Mercedes-Benz S500 is now being offered out of Georgia showing just over 65k miles on the odometer.
This S500 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic and rides on Mercedes-AMG split-spoke 18" wheels with new Toyo tires at all four corners. The mid-cycle facelift for the W220 included clear-lens bi-xenon headlights, revised taillights, side-mirror integrated LED turn signals, and a more aerodynamic front bumper design. The seller. Notes some signs of road going wear to the exterior including very small paint chips and a minor scuff on the right front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this S500 is clad in Alpaca Grey leather and features numerous creature comforts including power-adjustable, heated, and cooled front seats with memory settings, automatic on/off and daytime running headlights, a CD player, automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, power rear sunshade, heated rear seats, and a power sunroof.
This 2003 S500 is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing up to 302 HP and 339 lb.-ft of torque, paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The adaptive-damping Airmatic air suspension compliments a 5-link rear and 4-link front suspension with anti-dive geometry. The seller states the car was most recently serviced in September 2022 at 65,542 miles.
The sale will include two keys, a clean title, and owner's manuals.

@joaol 1. We did not get any service records from the family that we purchased the car from. We were told it was serviced throughout its life ( and just like you we had our concerns) not seeing any MB records. He did tell me specifically that the suspension had been addressed as well as the right side door actuators, which are in good working order.
2. We have not seen any leaking within the suspension system.
3. It does have the 6 disc changer.
Bid in the amount of $2,750
A few questions:
1. Carfax shows no service events between 2009 and 2018. are there are records of services during that time from the then owner (eg oil changes, etc)?
2. Has the air suspension been checked for possible leaks?
3. Does it have the 6-CD changer?
thanks.
