Alpina’s rendition of the BMW Z8, the Alpina Roadster V8 was developed for the 2003 model year as a more touring-focused sports car featuring softer Nappa leather upholstery, supple ride quality, and a 5-speed automatic transmission mated to an Alpina-tuned BMW M62 V8 engine. This example is one of 555 units produced in total and 450 that were exported to the United States. It comes finished in Jet Black over a Black Nappa leather interior and showcases 20” Ronal wheels, xenon headlamps, heated power sport seats, air conditioning, navigation, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this Alpina Roadster V8 was acquired by the seller about 2 years ago and is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 10k miles showing on the odometer.
Inspired by the classic BMW 507 roadster of the 1950s, the Z8 wears aluminum bodywork designed by Henrik Fisker. The Alpina version can be distinguished by its rear badging and unique 20” Ronal wheels. This example is finished in Jet Black (668) with a matching removable hardtop and retractable convertible roof. Equipment includes xenon headlights with washers, grille-mounted fog lights, neon taillights and turn signals, front fender vents with BMW roundels, chrome door handles, leather-covered roll hoops, and polished dual exhaust tips. The seller notes the exterior is in excellent overall condition with clear paint protection film applied over the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black Napa leather upholstery and features heated power-adjustable sport seats, a three-spoke Alpina steering wheel with Switch-Tronic shift buttons, blue center-mounted Alpina instrument dials, and Alpina-branded door sills. Other accessories include an Alpina-branded gear indicator, air conditioning, cruise control, a navigation system, a 6-disc CD changer, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and a plaque mounted between the seats that reads the car’s production number of 421/555. The seller indicates minor signs of wear consistent with the vehicle’s mileage.
Derived from the Alpina B10 V8S, the Alpina-tuned 4.8-liter M62 V8 engine features double-VANOS variable valve timing, individual throttle bodies, hollow camshafts, and an output of up to 375 HP and 396 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed Switch-Tronic automatic transmission. The car features a softer suspension setup than the standard BMW Z8 and comes with All-Season Traction (ASC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and four-wheel disc brakes with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC). The seller states that standard maintenance is up to date including routine oil and fluid service.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, an air pump, a car cover, a battery trickle charger, and a hardtop storage stand.
The seller would like you to know: “Amazing car. I had it as part of a larger collection. Unfortunately downsizing this year. Bone stock. Collector piece.”

@Utahcraft what would be a reasonable price considering your understanding of the market?
Plus not everyone prefers silver/red.
And the seller wants 310ish. So not 295k
A much nicer Z8 Alpina with half the mileage of this one went RNM at $295K on BaT today. Asking $295K on this one not realistic given current market conditions.........
Appreciate everyone for tuning in.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.
Will consider serious offers closer to my buy it now price.
Thanks!
