The Honda S2000 has gained notoriety for its high-revving F20C 2.0-liter inline-four that produces 120 HP per liter and its near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Among the original AP1 generation, this 2002 example is finished in Suzuka Blue Metallic over a Blue leather interior. Remaining true to its factory specifications, this one-owner S2000 is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Arizona with under 72k miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Suzuka Blue Metallic with a power-operated black soft top. Equipment includes a black windscreen frame, xenon headlights, dual exhaust outlets, and safety roll hoops behind the seats. The car rides on factory 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires which are said to remain in newer condition. A couple of minor paint imperfections are noted, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CAFAX report.
Inside, the Blue interior is appointed with leather-trimmed seats, aluminum pedal covers, pushbutton ignition, and a digital instrument display mounted ahead of a three-spoke leather steering wheel. The driver is also provided with air-conditioning, power windows and door locks, a locking storage compartment, and a sound system with AM/FM CD stereo.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter F20C inline 4-cylinder engine that features DOHC-VTEC variable valve timing, the AP1 S2000 sends up to 240 HP and 153 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Standard performance features include double-wishbone suspension and electrically assisted power steering. The seller states maintenance is up to date, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 22 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a clean, one-owner S2000 with a rare color combo.”

What is the condition of the top? Pictures? Also, please identify the paint imperfections (thought I noticed a couple of scratches but wasn't sure if there were chips or bubbling of the paint anywhere). Thanks in advance and GLWA!

Nice one! Any reason for selling? Can you tell us about your experience owning it?
Bid in the amount of $6,500
@ballengibson i believe @pcarmarket used the “near perfect 50/50” because it’s 49.2% in front and 50.8% in rear.
A Honda S2000 doesn't have 50/50 weight distribution. Misleading!!
