Finished in Black over a matching leather interior, this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels from a 3.4-liter flat-six engine. It features factory Sport Seats, stainless-steel door sill guards, an exterior Aerokit, red brake calipers, 19” Sport Design wheels, and an upgraded KW coilover suspension. Also benefitting from a replacement clutch, IMS bearing, and rear main seal, this Carrera Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Canada with approximately 100k kilometers or 62k miles showing on the odometer.

This 996 is finished in Black and has been fitted with an exterior Aerokit package including GT3-style spoilers and side skirts. Other equipment includes an electric sunroof, polished dual exhaust tips, a “911” rear model designation, red-painted brake calipers, and 18” Sport Design wheels dressed in Firestone Indy 500 tires from 2022. The seller describes the car as being in good overall condition apart from a small blemish on the passenger rear quarter panel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Black interior features a matching Alcantara headliner, optional power-adjustable leather Sport Seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and exclusive stainless-stell door sills with Carrera insignias. Other accessories include power windows and mirrors, a remote central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket Pioneer Bluetooth stereo with an instigated backup camera. Some signs of wear are present around the cabin.

A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled discs front and rear. The car has also been upgraded with a KW coilover suspension. The seller indicates the clutch, IMS bearing, and rear main seal have been replaced and a borescope inspection found no concerns. The spark plugs were also replaced in 2024 along with updated cam plugs.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a spare tire, and a clean title.

    Wish you would have added something showing the engine lid/trunk…. Judging by the amount of orange peel I am assuming the passenger side and rear bumper appear to have been repainted. Could you please confirm?

    I’m very interested but if it’s had extensive paint work then I’m out and I don’t want there to be surprises when I do get my eyes on the car for the first time.

    Good morning everyone!

    28 photos added to the gallery.

    I’ve also added pictures of any minor flaws in the paint. Small rock chips / road rash. Being a 24 year old car with 60k miles the paint is very nice.

  • Skarna (registered bidder) 3 months, 2 weeksago

    @Skarna Is it possible to get a walk-around video inside that garage with the lights focusing on paint?

  • Skarna (registered bidder) 3 months, 2 weeksago

    Hello, is it possible to get better, clearer, unedited pictures showing the paint on the vehicle? Looking at the cold start video it appears the engine lid has some very poor paint work on it (It appears dull and dusty) and there are a lot is swirl marks in the paint that got me wondering how the rest of the car looks.

    I could be wrong but would love for you to clear it up for us.

    @Mercyhealth

    The dials and brightness of gauges is good. The lighting and difference of frames per second on the camera vs the actual LED gives it the affect that it is dimmed.

    The Borescope pictures is what was provided to us along with confirmation that there was little to no scoring and all looked healthy. If you want to get on a phone call, please message me privately on the platform and I’d be happy to chat or put you in touch with the technician directly.

    Thanks.

    @CARSFORTOYS is there an issue with the center dials pic 67? Also I assume the last images are from the bore scope. I’m not sure what I’m looking at with these fuzzy pics. Do you have a report or can you take us through and explain the images?

    @IslaTurbine
    @Mercyhealth - RE IMS Invoice - we will scan that tomorrow and post here

    Picture of the options list will be posted tomorrow.

    Borescope was done from bottom and we will post the pics from the shop who did it .

    Re the rear wing - I’ll be back with the car tomorrow and can take a closer look

    We will also be scanning the invoices that are pertinent as requested.

    Re USA import - our broker can handle all the importation. Nothing has to be done to the car to get into the USA. Please message me and I can get you in touch with our broker. @Nein9

    @Mercyhealth
    I think that depends on the car; I suspect it matters more on low mileage garage queen than it does on a higher mileage daily driver. I also think there are generally three delineations in the 996 Aerokit market, all of which have their own impact on pricing:
    1. A true XAA car
    2. A car with a genuine Aerokit that was added after purchase.
    3. A car with an aftermarket replica Aerokit.

  • CARSFORTOYS (seller) 3 months, 3 weeksago

    Thank you for the requests, comments and questions so far- we will get to them today!

    We have multiple deliveries at the dealership right now, so as soon as we are completed we shall answer the questions and fulfil the requests!

    And also we will be putting up driving videos, undercarriage pictures and coldstart videos in the next couple of days.

    Many thanks.

  • Nein9 (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

    Because this isn’t her 25 years old what needs to be completed to pass US import?

  • Mercyhealth (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

    @IslaTurbine in your opinion is there a significant difference in value between factory XXA and the aftermarket addition of an OEM ( Turnwald, gurney flap etc) wing? Along with side skirts and front bumper of course.

  • Mercyhealth 3 months, 3 weeksago

    Bid in the amount of $996

  • Mercyhealth (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

    @CARSFORTOYS I love this iteration of the water cooled 911 most iconic wing ever designed by Porsche but I agree with IslaTurbine obviously not factory but close to OEM.
    Do you have any documentation of the ims and suspension work performed on the 996? Also pictures of the bore scope or report of the results would be nice to see. Picture 128 shows a stack of documents could we see the pertinent ones?
    I know it’s early in the auction but undercarriage pics cold start and driving videos will help.

  • IslaTurbine (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

    @seller
    1. A closer picture of the options tag under the front hood would likely assist with your auction. Looks to not be an XAA car but I can’t see what’s printed on the tag.

    2. The Gurney flap on the rear wing’s lower element is absent. Easy fix.

    3. Were the cylinders scoped from the top of the cylinder or the bottom (through the sump)?

    4. The rear wing looks to be aftermarket. Any thoughts on who it was produced by? (It’s hard to tell in the pics due to the black paint but the “PD” and “Turnwald” embossments don’t appear to be present and the air intake slot in the engine lid appears to have some sort of mesh grid material over it.)

    *Not a bidder but I do know the 996 and XAA cars very well.
