This 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 represents the high-performance version of the fifth-generation C5 Corvette, powered by a 5.7L LS6 V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This first-year Z06 was specified in Torch Red over a black leather interior and was originally titled in Georgia and later became part of a collection in Massachusetts before being acquired by the seller in New Hampshire. This beautifully preserved example is now being offered for auction showing just over 1k miles on the odometer.
The fiberglass exterior is finished in Torch Red (GKZ) and features pop-up headlights, Z06 fender badges, black rear brake vents, and quad exhaust tips. This Z06 is equipped with model-specific 17”/18” forged alloy wheels mounted with original Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires recommended for replacement due to age. The seller describes slight paint bubbling on the edge of the trunk and the rear portion of the hood, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, a BOSE sound system, power windows, electrochromic power heated mirrors, and a tilting leather-wrapped steering wheel. The seller notes the passenger side window regulator is currently inoperable.
The C5 Z06 is powered by a 5.7L LS6 V8 rated at 385 HP and 385 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Z06 can accelerate to 60 MPH in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 168 MPH. Performance features include a quad-exit titanium exhaust system, a larger front stabilizer bar, increased damping, and a higher spring rate than the standard Corvette. The Z06 is also equipped with active stability and traction control systems, speed-sensitive rack-and-pinion power steering, and ventilated disc brakes at all four corners.

@211broadway Tho I’m only 5.9 , I have a lot of friends that are bigger taller guys and fit comfortable in all c5. I think they are more comfortable than c6. it has plenty of leg room, seats go back far enough. you’ll fit fine.
I have never sat in this model year. Is leg room plentiful? I am 6 ft 3 inches.
