Available for auction is this 2000 Honda BB6 Prelude finished in Crystal Blue Metallic over a Black leather interior. Representing the fifth and final generation of Honda’s two-door sports coupe, this Prelude was purchased new in North Carolina and driven sparingly under the original ownership for the first 15 years. It was cared for by a second owner for the next 7 seven years before being acquired by the seller earlier in 2022. Accompanied by an original window sticker and documented service history, this beautifully presented Prelude is being offered for auction out of North Carolina while showing just over 18k miles on the odometer.
This Prelude comes finished in Crystal Blue Metallic with front fog lights and a painted rear spoiler installed by the dealer when new. Other features include body-colored power door mirrors, heat-rejecting green-tinted glass, and 16” machine-finished alloy wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 tires 2012-2014. Detailed images are provided along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is upholstered in Black leather and includes a 6-speaker Honda acoustic feedback stereo, air conditioning, a power tilting moonroof, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power windows and door locks. The seller confirms that all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
The naturally aspirated 2.2L DOHC 16-valve VTEC engine produces up to 200 HP, driving front wheels by way of a 5-speed manual gearbox. Stopping is handled by 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and the suspension includes a double-wishbone arrangement with gas-pressurized shocks and front and rear stabilizer bars. The CARFAX report shows 16 service history records dating back to 2000, and a major service performed in 2015 included a new timing belt, water pump, and belt tensioner. Corresponding invoices are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include the original window sticker and a clean title.

@blackdogcars @blackdogcars- We appreciate your questions and comments. We wish you the best if you decide to bid.
@seller - thanks for offering your opinion on that. GLWS.
@blackdogcars @blackdogcars- We believe this Honda Prelude has not had any Bodywork done to it. In its current condition, it shows NO signs of bodywork. The previous owner stated it had never seen rain and by the condition we believe him and purchased the car.
@ParamountAutomotive - Thanks for the reply. As the current custodian of the car and a dealer, in your professional opinion, does the car have any panels that have been repainted? A LOT of these have rusty quarter panels and many have had rust remediation done. Just trying to get an idea of where this car falls in the spectrum.
@blackdogcars @blackdogcars-We have no paint meter readings
@gator99sky @gator99sky- We have no indication that these seats were ever cloth.
Are the cloth seats under the leather?
Paint meter readings?
These are great cars. Super rare now. Totally under the radar

In that era Honda dealers regularly had leather installed in cars with standard cloth interiors.
@Mtnbkrits- We were told by the previous owner that the inside of the car is ALL original
