Available for auction is this 1999 Mazda NB MX-5 Miata finished in Emerald Green Mica (18J) over a black cloth interior. The second generation of Mazda’s venerable two-seater sports car, this 1999 Miata was acquired by the seller in March of 2022 from its original owner out of Maine and features the coveted Sports Package which adds revised bodywork, Bilstein shocks, a Torsen limited-slip differential, and more. This MX-5 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania showing just over 1k miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Emerald Green Mica (18J) with a black convertible soft top and the optional Sports Package which adds a unique front air dam, a rear decklid spoiler, and 15″ alloy wheels currently dressed in a set of older Michelin Pilot SX tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean one-owner CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in black cloth with matching carpets, dashboard, and door panels. The driver is supplied with air conditioning, Miata-branded floor mats, roll-up windows, a factory CD stereo, and a Nardi steering wheel as part of the Sport Package.
Power comes from a 1.8L BP-W4, which is capable of producing up to 140 HP and 119 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transmission with a Torsen limited-slip differential. The NB Miata uses four-wheel independent suspension with larger anti-roll bars at the front and rear compared to the NA version. The seller notes that an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include a set of keys, owners manuals, and a clean title.

@richjs43 no problem, best of luck.
@louispereznyc we did not replace the tires on it to keep it original, if you plan on using it to drive, and not collect I would recommend replacing them. We could have that taken care of at cost if you were high bidder. Thank you.
@SeibelsAutoWarehouse :,thanks so much for the video and door latch pictures (I thought that it was just wax).
@SeibelsAutoWarehouse Since they are 23 years old and not road-worthy, are you planning to change out the tires before the next owner takes delivery?

@richjs43 Uploaded was a Cold Start, and photos of the wax removed from the area of the latch, it just a build up of wax. Sorry, and Thank you.

@Porshafile we do not have any type of records. The gentleman had everything done in house, and not at a specific shop. Thank you.
@louispereznyc Good afternoon, sorry we just got back to the warehouse off of the road. The Tires are the Original from 1999. The latch in the pictures simply had some wax on it, that was not removed prior to pictures, we have updated with additional pictures showing the area cleaned up. As far as welds, all are factory. The car has had No Paintwork ever done. We are going to be posting up paint meter readings later today. Hope this helps you.

Still awaiting answers to questions from multiple people.
@Porshafile we do not have any type of records. The gentleman had everything done in house, and not at a specific shop. Thank you.
Good afternoon to all comments. We are closed this weekend, but will address all of these concerns Monday when we are back in the warehouse. Cold Start video, and close up photos will be coming. Thank you.

Can you take a picture of the battery with the disconnect switch setup and behind both seats?
@SeibelAutoWarehouse: again on picture 138, the door latch appears to have jagged edges, can you comment on this (all the white stuff looks like wax not being rubbed off. Also, when you started the car, it looks like the engine was warm according to the temperature gauge reading….and you provide a cold start video. thank you
Photo #138 indicates some form of spot welding. What was the cause? What are the ages of the tires? Thank you.
Do you have a detailed Maintenance history?
Bid in the amount of $1,500
Good Afternoon PCARMARKET Community. We are very excited to offer our first ever listing here, and just the beginning of a great relationship. This is a beautiful, 1 Owner Miata with the Hard S Suspension Package, and only 1311 Original Miles. This car was owned by a gentleman with an extensive collection in Maine. His units did not sit, and not touched, but rather he had a friend that drove, serviced, and maintained his fleet. Very Well Kept. Original Paint, and Like New. We are on standby to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Thanks again.
