Among the most desirable versions of the final air-cooled 911, the Porsche 993 Carrera 4S combines a traditional naturally aspirated flat-six engine with the wider bodywork of the 911 Turbo. This final-year example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Classic Grey partial leather upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, optional aluminum trim pieces, the Hi-Fi Sound Package, a full power driver’s seat, a rear window wiper, and more. Purchased from its original owner in 2001 with just over 10k miles driven from new, this Carrera 4S is now offered by its second owner of 23 years out of New Jersey with approximately 45k miles showing on the odometer. 

Compared to a standard 993 Carrera 4, the 4S version features wider fenders and bumpers derived from the 911 Turbo. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels. Other equipment includes integrated fog lights, projection headlights with washers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, an optional rear window wiper, an electric sunroof, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller describes the exterior as being in excellent overall condition apart from some small chips on the front bumper and hood, a scratch on the lower front spoiler, and a blemish on the rear passenger-side wheel. Inside, this 993 is appointed with Classic Grey partial leather upholstery, matching carpets, and an optional fully powered driver’s seat. It was optioned with Exclusive aluminum instrument dials as well as aluminum trim inlays for the leather shift knob and brake handle. The car is also outfitted with power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, and a factory stereo system. The seller reports normal signs of wear on the driver’s seat and confirms all gauges and accessories are fully functional apart from an aftermarket trunk-mounted CD changer.

Producing up to 282 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission with an Automatic Braking Differential (ABD). Standard performance features include power steering, multi-link LSA rear suspension, and Turbo-spec fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled discs. The seller notes the alternator was replaced in 2021, both front struts were replaced in 2022, and the car was recently inspected by a Porsche specialist in preparation for the sale.
