Finished in blue over a black leather interior, this 1998 Mercedes-Benz G300 was originally specified for the German market and features a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This two-door G-Wagen is equipped with three locking differentials, a dual-range transfer case, automatic climate control, heated front seats, and burred walnut interior trim. Imported from Europe to the U.S. by the selling dealer, this G300 Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey with approximately 153k kilometers or 95k miles showing on the odometer.
This W463 G-Class has been refinished in blue from its original Green Black Metallic color and features a new power-operated black convertible soft top. Other features include a chrome front brush guard, fender flares, mud flaps, fog lights, a hitch receiver, and a rear-mounted spare tire with a stainless-steel cover. The truck rides on silver 18” five-spoke alloy wheels dressed in Pirelli Scorpion tires from 2020.
The cabin is upholstered with black leather accented by burred walnut wood veneers. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats, a split-folding rear bench seat, a wood-trimmed leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, power windows and mirrors, differential locker switches, and a stereo system.
The 3.0-liter OM606 turbodiesel inline-six engine produces up to 175 HP and 243 lb.-ft. of torque. It drives all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and three locking differentials. The truck comes standard with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “We imported this vehicle from Europe, it runs and drives great. If you would like to stop by and take a look please do.”

For those curious, when you Google the VIN on this G300, it returns an older dealer page from "Auto Collection Summit" which is located where Lotus of North Jersey is today (and is presumably a subsidiary of the Lotus dealership). R. Gomez (@rgo) is listed on both the Lotus of North Jersey & Auto Collection Summit websites.
Smythe Volvo (similar to the winner "@smythecllction") is the parent company of Lotus of North Jersey.
@PCARMARKET on the surface this appears suspicious. Seller has very little history on the platform and @likemytoys brings up a valid point. Seller’s other listing (the SSR) was serviced at Smythe as well. Some clarification here would be appreciated.
@likemytoys we appreciate your input, if the account was suspicious it would be flagged by management
@PCARMARKET - The adjacent dealership to the listing dealer is SMYTHE. Just asking you to look into it...
@likemytoys please do not make accusations that cannot be substantiated. Thank you.
@PCARMARKET - Looks like the seller is bidding on their own auction here under the name of their sister dealership....

@seller - Can you please post a video of the power top working? Was there any effort to try and remove the water lines on the paint, or was the car just not clean for the photos? I assume this car sat outside for some time. Additionally, can you please post some undercarriage phots? Thank you!
