This 1998 Bentley Continental T is one of only 14 North American Regional Special Edition (RSE) models built for the year, delivering a sportier profile than its Continental R counterpart with its shorter wheelbase. Powered by a 6.75-liter turbocharged V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, this example is finished in Blue Sequin Mica over a Sandstone and Royal Blue leather upholstery. It features an adaptive suspension, disc brakes, 18” chrome-finished wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, a Pioneer flip-up stereo, and more. Showing just over 36k miles on the odometer, this rare Continental is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Georgia.
Built on a Mulliner Park Ward chassis, the Continental T features a shortened wheelbase compared to the Continental R, along with flared wheel arches and a wider rear track. This example is finished in Blue Sequin Mica and accented with chrome around the grille, door handles, headlamps, and window surrounds. It rides on chrome-finished 18” wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico tires. Notable imperfections include chips on the front bumper and grille, paint bubbling near the left-front window, a scratch on the trunk lid, and minor dings on one of the doors. Under previous ownership, the right-rear quarter panel and lower front valance were refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is appointed with seats upholstered in Sandstone leather, complemented by Alcantara seat bolsters, Royal Blue carpets and trim, and burl wood veneer accents. It has heated, power-adjustable front seats, a blue leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather headliner. Amenities comprise automatic climate control, an electrically powered rear window blind, and a Pioneer flip-up head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. Under previous ownership, the driver’s seat memory controls were repaired, the dashboard was re-covered, and the burl wood accents were refinished. The start-up alarm sensor has been bypassed, and there are signs of separation on the left B-pillar trim.
Power comes from a 6.75-liter turbocharged V8 engine and is delivered to the rear wheels through a 4L80-E 4-speed automatic transmission. It features an adaptive suspension system that adjusts to varying driving conditions and a four-wheel disc braking system with ABS. Recent maintenance includes repairs to the battery cut-off switch, recharging the air conditioning system, and replacing the drive belt.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a sales brochure, and a clean title.

@Apatel482755 Hello! The alarm sensor is bypassed because it is a known issue on these cars. It wasn't caused by anything in particular, but the current owner felt more comfortable having it bypassed.
The B-pillar just needs another clip to hold it in place. Unfortunately it is just common issues for an old British car. It wasn't caused by an accident or anything of that nature. The Bentley is in VERY good condition considering it is a 1998. If you have any other questions or concerns I am happy to do my best to respond.
Is their reason for the - The start-up alarm sensor has been bypassed? Usually British cat when system is bypass, this means their is issue. Is is due to any specific previous damage to the door?
Also, you mentioned - there are signs of separation on the left B-pillar trim. Can you please elaborate or provide more specific details and pictures? Trying to understand if the door was damaged or any surrounding areas. Usually you wouldn’t see B-pillar trip offset or separation unless a previous push from left or right side.

@vo152 Thank you sir. We visited London for the first time last year and ended up going to the Savile row car show. We really enjoyed it. We can also handle shipping the Bentley overseas if you get a wild hair.
@CarConcierge I wish I could! Sadly it’s a bit of a distance to travel being in the UK. I absolutely love these and the colour of your car is extra special indeed. All the very best with sale.
@vo152 You should see it in person! It is stunning!
