One of the most iconic sports cars of the 1990s, the F355 was introduced in 1994 as the replacement for the Ferrari 348, with a focus on reliability, aerodynamics, and the incorporation of Formula One technology. In 1995, the Spider convertible variant was released as the first Ferrari with a power semi-automatic soft top. This 1997 example is finished in Rosso Corsa over a custom red and black diamond-stitched leather interior and was specified with a 6-speed gated manual transmission mated to the 3.5L V8 with a 5-valve cylinder head and dry sump lubrication, producing 375 HP. It has been modified with Nitron coilovers, a Tubi exhaust, aftermarket wheels, and a touchscreen media head unit. Said to have been previously owned by an avid collector and enthusiast, it has recently received a full engine out service which included new belts, seals, gaskets, spark plugs, brakes, and tires in the last 500 miles. Showing just over 39k miles on the odometer, this 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider is being offered at auction by the seller based out of Virginia.
The exterior is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) with a black power-operated convertible top and a red diamond-stitched tonneau cover. Details include Scuderia Ferrari enamel fender shields, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, an integrated rear spoiler, a vented engine cover, side air scoops, black brake calipers with white Ferrari script, Pininfarina rocker panel badges, and quad exhaust finishers. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The bronze-finished aftermarket multi-piece wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires displaying 2017 date codes.
The interior has been reupholstered with black and red diamond-stitched leather, with a red upper dash, door panels, seats, and steering wheel, contrasted by a black lower dash, rear bulkhead, grab handles, and seat inserts with red diamond-stitched contrast embroidery. Amenities include carbon fiber trim on the center console, a carbon fiber shift knob, carbon fiber door sill guards, automatic climate control, black floormats with Ferrari logos and red binding, chrome-ringed Veglia instrumentation, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack for fuel level and coolant temperature. The original headunit has been replaced with a Pioneer NEX touchscreen which is connected to the 4-speaker audio system.
The F355 is equipped with a 3.5L 40-valve F129B V8 factory rated at 375 HP and 268 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential, which allows acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 182 MPH. The seller reports that an engine-out service was performed in the last 500 miles, including the replacement of drive belts, seals, gaskets, and spark plugs, in addition to new brake pads and rotors. A set of Nitron adjustable coilovers and a Tubi exhaust system have been installed under previous ownership.
This sale will include 3 keys, owner’s manuals, a battery charger, and some service documentation.

@whoabuddyracing too has been converted to manually operated
Car runs great
I can try and do another vid
But I’m going 55
Does the top operate without issue? And the driving video is done without evidence of a cold start and with the lightest of application of throttle. Yet the listing says engine service was performed recently. Does this thing run right?

Hello, This beautiful rare 97 355 spider gated manual was purchased from an avid collector, the car had been very well taken care, there’s been a lot of money put into the car it looks like it may have an upgraded exhaust, suspension, integrated touchscreen with navigation Internet radio Bluetooth backup camera etc., among other things, the car does sound amazing engine is very clean, runs and drives and sounds great, Interior has been custom redone with Beautiful red and black Ferrari leather, no sticky buttons, all carbon fiber, everything down to the shift knob, both the outside and the inside are just about flawless car really has no issues does run and drive great also shifts great the clutch does appear to be new but we do not have records for that, tires are in excellent condition as well as the brakes, We checked all the belts and fluids they do look brand new, Any PPIs are welcome, unfortunately this was a brokered deal so we do not have the records of the stated service but it does appear that everything has just recently been done when we looked over it ourselves, please any questions feel free to send, we will try to answer as quickly and as accurate as possible, Thanks for your interest and good luck!
