Saab introduced the second-generation 900 hatchback in 1994, followed by the convertible in the subsequent year, sharing a platform with Opel models yet maintaining distinctive Saab features like an integrated ignition barrel and an optional turbocharged engine. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, this 1996 example is finished in Scarabe Green over Sand Beige leather upholstery and is equipped with a power-operated black soft top, 16″ alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, onboard computer, and an AM/FM CD cassette stereo. Showing just over 30k miles on the odometer, this 900 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.
Finished in Scarabe Green, this example features a power-operated black convertible soft top, headlight wipers, fog lights, and heated power side mirrors. It rides on three-spoke 16” allow wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated 2005. The seller reports the left headlight glass was replaced in 2023, and the right rear quarter panel was also repainted before due to cosmetic defects but assures that the paint is in good condition without any noticeable flaws or deterioration. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, Sand Beige leather adorns the seating surfaces, complemented by matching carpets and door panels. It boasts wood veneer trim on the dashboard and upper door panels and features heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a wood-trimmed shift knob, power windows, driver-seat position memory, an onboard computer, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo system connected to a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. All gauges and electronics are reported to be working properly.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine delivers a factory-rated 185 HP and 194 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Previous service records indicate that the battery and muffler were replaced in 2021, and an oil change was recently carried out in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, sales brochure, and a clean title.

@amor1064 vehicle is located in Tennessee, at our dealership right outside of Nashville, but lived in Colorado and Oregon. @almontana1946 no leaks and all works well. It is ready for an 800-mile trip except for the tires...which are dated 2005.
Any leaks from engine, transmission, hydraulics on top? Does the top operate properly? What are the date codes on the tires? Is the car ready for an 800 mile road trip? Thank you.
A little confused about where this car is located? CO/ OR/ TN? If I were to win the bid, where would it be picked up or shipped from? Thanks.
