Finished in Black Metallic over a Black leather interior, this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo underwent a custom 3.8-liter engine build in 2007 which included Mahle pistons and cylinders, ported and polished heads, GT2 turbochargers, custom camshafts, an FVD Sport intercooler, billet injector blocks, an Autronic ECU, and a lightweight flywheel. Between 2020 and 2021, over $41k was invested in a major mechanical overhaul which included another engine rebuild with new CP Carrillo rods, rebuilt turbochargers, fuel injectors, valve springs, bearings, and more. This 993 Turbo was acquired by the seller from its long-term previous owner out of Pennsylvania and is now being offered for auction in New York with approximately 58k miles showing on the odometer.
This 993 features Turbo-specific bodywork with wide fenders, large front air intakes, and a body-colored rear spoiler. It came factory-finished in Black Metallic (Z8) and rides on black-painted 18” 911 Turbo wheels. The seller notes an additional set of three-piece wheels is included with the sale. Other equipment includes optional polished stainless-steel exhaust tips, red brake calipers, Litronic bi-xenon headlamps, front fog lights, clear European-style turn signals, tinted windows, a sunroof, and a rear window wiper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this 993 is appointed with Black leather upholstery including power-operated comfort seats with Porsche-crested headrests. Options include aluminum instrument dials, stainless-steel door sills with model insignias, and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Other features include power windows and mirrors, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, a Porsche CDR-220 radio, and upgraded Focal speakers. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that was rebuilt to a 3.8-liter displacement by CS Motorsports in 2007 with Mahle pistons and cylinders, ported and polished heads, ARP head studs and rod bolts, GT2 turbochargers, a custom camshaft set, billet injector blocks, an Autronic ECU, a lightweight flywheel, a new clutch, and a GT2 pressure place. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. HM Motor Works completed a major mechanical overhaul between 2020 and 2021 at a cost of over $41k. The work included another engine rebuild with new CP Carrillo rods, bearings, gaskets, valve springs, piston rings, spark plugs, and ignition wires. The turbochargers, fuel injectors, and oil scavenger pump were also rebuilt at this time. Corresponding invoices are provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include an additional set of three-piece wheels, the original intercooler cover, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, service records, and a clean title.

@fast930turbo YES AC works great and HEAT works great, thanks
does AC and Heat work?
@Ridin.Dirty I actually do have several sets of lights for these in storage
Thanks
Don't happen to have original rear lights? (Red vs yellow)

The addition rims/ tires are 285 rear and tires are I great condition
Rears are not hollow spoke my apologies, rear tires are 255’s, they fit fine but need spacers to make them come out more like I have now, thanks
@993David I’ll check thanks
@seller are the rears wearing 255s? Do the stock 285s fit without the spacer?
@Ridin.Dirty got it thanks!
hollow spoke 993 turbo twist part number is 993 362 140 01
narrow is 993 362 140 04
indistinguishable visually.
will be stamped on back of rim
@undercutspr12 I’ll confirm but I think all 993 Tt turbo twist rims are hollow spoke I could be wrong , I’ll Check , thanks
Bid in the amount of $104,993
@prmnorton1 are they hollow? Stock 993 aren't. The later 996 ones are that look basically identical. Look at the stampings. I did the swap on my 993tt along with other stuff.
Bid in the amount of $104,000
@Ridin.Dirty yes rims are hollow, yes I added spacers on back for more of any aggressive look, thanks
I'll stop bugging you in a bit but how about the rims? They are turbo twist look sure...but are they hollow? That's kind of important. The rear seem to "poke" a bit ....are there spacers on the rear causing this? If not NB rims would do this.
@Ridin.Dirty I think the lights might have just been switch out to get rid of bumper things, thanks
@Ridin.Dirty ok not sure thanks for insight
@prmnorton1 Hi, to my understanding if the vehicle is US spec it must have bumperettes. If you remove the bumperettes there are holes (not small...about 1.5" x 2.5") in the bumper that must be filled in and the whole bumper must be sprayed or a new non US spec replacement bumper must be used. The lights are also different from US spec. It looks great but it's not OEM.
@burnrubr The first big upgrade and tune was done by CS Motorsports in WI at the cost of about $40,000, then S-car-go service center in CA did a major tune and ecu wiring at the cost of $14,000, the second major rebuild and tune was done by HM motor works in NH at the cost of $51,000 which was a few thousand miles ago, I don’t have a Dyno sheet, estimate hp based on all my other Porsche is around 550-600 thanks
@Ridin.Dirty body is all factory and all original as far as I know, paint on car reads factory original paint as well, along with original paint sticker and original white option sticker thanks
very nice modded example! what shop did the last mods and tune? is there any dyno graph on how much whp on current tune?, thank you
Hi, the front bumperette removal....was that in the documents? Was the bumper holes filled in and re-painted or was the bumper replaced with a row?
thanks
joe
@Cgt000 yes
Bid in the amount of $102,911
Is it still all wheel drive?
Bid in the amount of $102,000
@993David your welcome, thanks for positive words, car really is amazing, one of my favs
@seller, thanks for the clarification. Nice car, I’ll be in the mix.
@993David I just checked and I don’t think it was closed all the way, front closest tight no gaps, sorry about that, good eye, thanks
@993David lines are tight, no gaps at all, may not be full closed when they did photo shoot, thanks
Front corners of frunk are sitting high
A lot to like here
Bid in the amount of $100,993
@WTT correct ty
Note in description that "GT2 pressure place" should probably be "GT2 pressure plaTe"???
@manualsonly hi i confirmed the front lower plastic bumper was scraped when towed to shop and unloaded which does happen when loading and unloading these cars due to how low they are, the body is all original factory paint, there are no accidents, and no signs of any damage, clutch does feel brand new, there are two keys, thanks
@GoSpeedRacerGo yes it’s stock and will
Pass smog thanks
Bid in the amount of $26,993
Hi. Page 4 of the service receipt dated 10/11/2021 notes a recommendation for "impact repair." Can you elaborate on this? Appears to be in conjunction with one of the major services performed.
Looks like the replaced clutch has approx 16k miles, so expect the clutch to perform optimally, please confirm.
How many keys are included in the sale?
Thanks,
I may have missed this but it looks like the exhaust is stock. True? Important since I need to pass smog in Calif
@s14kev not sure, I know that is now runs flawlessly and needs nothing and will not need anything for a very long time, thanks
Bid in the amount of $25,993
@prmnorton1 Looks like the car had the 3.8L build in WI around 40-50K miles. What failed to warrant a second rebuild 10-15K miles later?
@Warpig more than welcome, thanks for your interest
Thanks again..,
@Warpig lol just stating the facts
Car really is amazing
With over $120,000 in service the next owner will need to do absolutely nothing but enjoy
Tire are also new as well
Thanks and good luck
Understood......you are saying what I was hoping you would say, in the way I was hoping you would say it!!
Thanks!
@Warpig ok cool, car can be a daily driver no problem, runs and drives flawlessly and shifts like butter and clutch is super smooth and responsive, it’s perfect for getting around but the power is there if the driver desires, really the best if both worlds in my opinion, you wouldn’t know it has been upgraded to a 3.8 until you put the pedal down lol
Thanks! I have a few other cars, but I would like to use this as A semi daily driver . In your opinion, having owned the car for some time now, How would it Perform , given all the mods ??
@Warpig hi Air conditioning works perfectly as well as the heat, thanks
I am interested in bidding, but a serious consideration for me is the air conditioning, seeing as I would be taking it on some long trips .... So...." How is the air conditioning "???
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@burnrubr The first big upgrade and tune was done by CS Motorsports in WI at the cost of about $40,000, then S-car-go service center in CA did a major tune and ecu wiring at the cost of $14,000, the second major rebuild and tune was done by HM motor works in NH at the cost of $51,000, I don’t have a Dyno sheet that was a estimate hp based on all my other Porsche, thanks
@Peteweiss yea that’s correct suspension, thanks
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
nice! who's the shop responsible for the rebuild and tune? any dyno graph? thank you
@Peteweiss I’m pretty sure it’s pss9 Bilstein but I’ll Confirm Monday
Estimated around 550-600 hp
Based on my other ones
Not 100% sure but it’s pretty damn fast
What is suspension setup?
And HP estimate?

@TILLMAN67 first build was a upgrade to a 3.8 and 993 gt2 turbos wasn’t a needed rebuild, second one was a major engine out full rebuild, everything has been redone and is pretty much new, read through ad and check out records, car runs drives and shifts flawlessly and will not need to be serviced for a very very long time, a lot of time and money has been invested so the next owner won’t need to do anything, this is a matching numbers car with original factory special order metallic paint with no accidents, really an amazing car all around
thanks
Perhaps I am a neophyte, but what’s up with 2 engine rebuilds on this car? Any other significant mechanical work, electrical, or otherwise?

This car is a all matching numbers 993 turbo with original factory special order paint
@hayesproperties hi it’s a matching numbers car, the first build was more or less a 3.8 upgrade and full overhaul and second one was a complete rebuild and turbo rebuild and new clutch
Hi Seller
Was the original engine rebuilt two times or was another motor installed at some time?
Thanks
