Up for auction is this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Aventurine Green Metallic over a Classic Grey interior. Representing the final iteration of the air-cooled 911, this 1995 example was ordered from the factory with a Tiptronic automatic gearbox and some exclusive options including a leather-covered gearbox tunnel, rear center console tray, and shift lever. Sold new in Southern California, this 993 is said to have been dealer maintained for the first 8 years of its life at Beverly Hills Porsche. It was also treated to a recent service in 2020 totaling over $32k which included a full engine rebuild and A/C system overhaul. With approximately 81k miles showing on the odometer, this 993 Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This 993 is presented in Aventurine Green Metallic, an attractive shade that was recently reinstated as an option for the 992 generation. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX. Exterior features of this example include a grey cabriolet top, black stone guards, and factory 17” Cup 2 wheels.
Inside, you will find a well-preserved Classic Grey interior with an exclusive leather-covered gearbox tunnel, rear center console tray, and shift lever. Other factory options include pleated leather seats, an onboard computer, Tiptronic shift buttons for the steering wheel, a sound system, and cruise control. As part of a major service in 2020, the A/C system was overhauled, the alarm control unit was replaced, and new Classic Grey floormats were installed.
This Carrera is equipped with a 3.6 L flat-six engine that is capable of sending 272 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox. An invoice from 2020 shows over $32k spent on a major service including a full engine rebuild, transmission service, a differential fluid change, a rebuilt ignition distributor, and more. The supporting invoice is provided in the photo gallery.
This sale will include the original air compressor, tool roll, jack, and a clean title.
