Between 1992 and 1997, approximately 12k hand-built cabriolet versions of the W124 E320 were produced, at a time considered a high point for Mercedes-Benz in terms of engineering and build quality. This 1995 example comes finished in Black over matching leather upholstery and comes factory-equipped with power-adjustable heated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a power roll bar, and much more. Showing under 82k miles on the odometer, this E320 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This example comes finished in Black (040U) with a matching power-operated convertible soft top and contrasting gray bumpers and lower body cladding. Details include headlight washers and wipers, a power antenna, and 15” eight-hole alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin X tires mounted approximately six years ago. The seller notes minor signs of road wear, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The four-place cabin is upholstered in Black leather (261A) and adorned with burl wood trim along the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a power roll bar, automatic climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable front seats with driver’s memory functions, heated front seats, a power-adjustable steering column, power-adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, front airbags, and a glass rear-window defroster. The seller notes a new rearview mirror and Becker sound system have been installed, and the center console lock is currently inoperable.
Power comes from an M104 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine, sending a factory-rated 217 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller adds that Top Hydraulics in Oregon replaced the roof hydraulics and core locks, the wiring harness has been serviced, the engine mounts have been replaced, and the door pully and bearing brackets have been replaced. Additionally, the CARFAX report shows a total of 24 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, sales literature, and an original wind deflector.
The seller would like you to know: “Buyer, I'm glad you are considering owning a W124. This car has been updated for peak driving enjoyment, and I look forward to passing this E320 on to a fellow enthusiast while the car is in prime shape.”

As I'm double checking everything's functionality, I noticed the driver's side rear seatbelt buckle was not locking.
I also added some paint meter readings for the A-pillars, hips, trunk, hood and side body panels.
