Available for auction is this 1995 Land Rover Defender 90 300Tdi finished in light gray over gray vinyl interior. This example is said to have been imported from Sicily by the seller in 2021 and was subsequently treated to a cosmetic restoration. It comes equipped with upgraded suspension, a Westin bull bar, and a 300Tdi turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This Defender is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland.
This short-wheelbase Defender is finished in a shade of light grey with a contrasting black roof and fender flares. The body was refinished during its restoration and photos documenting the process have been provided by the seller. Accessories include an air intake snorkel, a roll bar, roof crossbars, upgraded bumpers, side steps, a Westin bull bar, rear mud flaps, a tailgate-mounted spare, and a receiver hitch. It rides on a set of 16” Sawtooth wheels finished in black and dressed in a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T tires.
The cabin features front bucket seats and rear inward-facing bench seating upholstered in grey vinyl along with a matching center console and door panels. Features include roll-up windows, center console storage, Alpine ceiling windows, rubber floor mats, and a dashboard-mounted inclinometer.
Power comes from a 300Tdi 2.5L turbodiesel inline four-cylinder engine. The rear or all four wheels are driven by way of a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. In preparation for sale, the clutch fluid reservoir and muffler were replaced and an oil and filter service was carried out. The seller notes surface rust is present under the hood.
This sale will include a branded Maryland title (not actual mileage).
