Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a Cashmere Beige and Black interior, this 1994 Porsche 968 is one of only 423 Coupe versions produced for North America with an optional 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. It features a 3.0-liter inline-four DOHC engine, 17” Cup wheels, a sunroof, power seats, automatic climate control, and cruise control. It has been under the seller’s ownership for over 12 years and was completely refinished in its original color less than a year ago along with a recent timing belt and water pump replacement. Showing approximately 184k miles on the odometer, this 968 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This Porsche 968 is one of 220 North American-market Coupes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic. The car is said to have been repainted in its original color less than a year ago. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, a sunroof, a rear window wiper, a rear spoiler with an integrated brake light, a polished exhaust tip, and black Porsche-branded brake calipers mounted behind 17” Cup wheels. The seller indicates the sunroof has not been operated in several years and the rear windshield wiper is currently inoperable.
The Cashmere Beige partial leather interior includes power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, Porsche-branded floor mats, an aftermarket cup holder, and an aftermarket stereo. The seller notes some signs of wear in the cabin including a small tear on the side of the driver’s seat.
Displacing 3.0 liters, the 968’s inline-four DOHC engine features 16-valves and Porsche’s VarioCam variable valve timing system. It delivers up to up to 236 HP and 225 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. Service performed by Eurotech German Car Services in 2024 including a timing belt and water pump replacement, a new battery, two motor fans, and a lower control arm.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a spare tire, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. We have owned this car for over 12 years and we store it in a climate-controlled garage. All maintenance is up to date and a new battery was installed in June 2024. The car is completely stock with a new paint job less than a year ago. We were going to keep it but because of personal reasons we needed to get a larger car to carry a mobility electric scooter. I think you will love this car as we did.”

I wasn’t talking about the license plate @Andrew968.
I’m referring to the warp/depression in the plastic bumper cover. It can be seen in several photos starting with number 1.
It’s in the area where the passenger headlight and hood meet the top of the bumper cover.
I have seen the rear bumper cover on these 968s experience some warping on the flat portion but I haven’t seen it on the front which is predominantly curves.
As for paint scratches, they can be seen in a few photos, perhaps no 27 is the most clear.
@Spokayman that is not a front bumper cover. It is a license plate that says Porsche. It was bent before it was put on.
I don’t know where you are seeing scratches. You might be referring to reflections.

@Andrew968,
Can you show some better photos of the depression/warp in the front bumper cover? Do you know what caused it?
Some of the panels show a lot of swirls and scratches. Did these happen after the repaint work?
@mgregoria,
There’s a two page recent receipt in photos that’s pretty comprehensive, but it would be nice to see older receipts too if possible.
I may bid. Need receipts for the major repairs.
