Available for auction is this 1994 Mercedes-Benz W124 300E finished in Blue-Black Metallic (199U) over a red cloth interior. This 300E was imported from Japan in 2019 and has remained under the care of the seller ever since. It comes equipped with an aggressive AMG body kit, AMG Monoblock style wheels, an AMG steering wheel, lowered suspension, and more. This W124 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing approximately 89k kilometers (55k miles) on the odometer.
This W124 is finished in Blue-Black Metallic (199U) and sports an AMG body kit which includes more aggressive front and rear fascias, side skirts, and an integrated trunk lid spoiler. Other details include a Heckblende reflector insert at the rear, headlamp washers, front fog lamps, and a set of 17” Monoblock-style wheels dressed in Bridgestone tires. The seller notes the car was refinished under previous ownership in Japan and that the exterior received a paint correction and ceramic coating treatment in 2021. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in red patterned cloth with matching carpets and Zebrano wood inlays on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes heated and power-operated front seats, a four-spoke AMG steering wheel, and power windows, door locks, and mirrors. A Japanese-market Panasonic radio is currently installed while an alternative head unit is said to accompany the sale as well. The seller notes that some lighting has been upgraded to LED resulting in a bulb-out warning on the dashboard.
Power comes from an M104 24-valve 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission. The suspension has been fitted with a set of lowering springs and the car received a replacement factory exhaust system. Several repair invoices are said to be included and the seller confirms an oil change will be carried out upon sale for the next owner.
This sale will include a clean title.

@bt87cab car was built in 90 but first registration in Japan was in 94 so that’s way is 1994 you can check the Japanese title is in paperwork
I don’t know why Japan does that
You could have a car that’s built in 1996 but not registered until 2000 and because of that you could not bring it in USA because of 25 y rule
Because the Japanese title will say 2000
Thank you for the interest and good question
@Vlad600sel apologies I meant 1990 or 1994. VIN indicates 1990 MY.
@bt87cab it has a clean New Jersey title I don’t see why would be a problem
Actually I have a1994 s600 from Japan that I’m in process to have a title issue and more paperwork but no problems
1994 or 1994? May cause issues titling during out of state inspection.
Bid in the amount of $16,000

@twickes40 hi
Thank you for checking it out
The car for what I can tell had a full repaint in Japan at some point
Under my ownership it had paint correction and ceramic coat you can check the paperwork
I have a few Mercs and other cars that I do same thing paint correction and ceramic coat because it protects it and doesn’t get dirty so quick
If anything let me know
Thank you
I love the look of these. @Vlad600sel in the description it says the car was "refinished." What does that mean? Does the car have any paintwork?
