The range-topping model of BMW’s original 8-Series, the 850CSi features a 5.6-liter S70 V12 engine, a lowered sport-tuned suspension, and revised aerodynamic bumpers. This 1994 BMW 850CSi is one of only 225 examples built for the U.S. market over a two-year production run. It comes finished in Alpine White over a black leather interior and is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, heated power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, an integrated cell phone, and an onboard computer. The car has also been modified with European-style headlights, M-Sport mirrors, floating front brake rotors, and an aftermarket adjustable front sway bar. Accompanied by a binder of service records and an original window sticker, this rare E31 is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 108k miles showing on the odometer.
The 850CSi is distinguished from other E31 models by its revised aerodynamic front fascia, rear valence, and BMW Motorsport-branded door handles. This example is finished in Alpine White and modified with European-style pop-up headlamps and M-Sport side mirrors. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, an electric sunroof, quad exhaust tips, and 18” Style 37 M Parallel wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact tires. The seller notes the rear decklid and front bumper were refinished under previous ownership and slight corrosion is present around the sunroof panel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered with black leather accented by yew wood trim on the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, a power-adjustable steering column, power windows, central locking, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, an integrated cell phone, an AM/FM stereo, a CD player, an M-Sport gear knob, and BMW-branded floor mats. The seller notes the windshield washer pump and battery were recently replaced.

It drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Performance features include a lowered sport-tuned suspension, speed-sensitive variable assist power steering, all-season traction (ASC+T), and an anti-lock braking system with four-wheel disc brakes. The car has been modified with Euro-spec floating front brake rotors and an aftermarket adjustable front sway bar. A collection of service records is provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, an original window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, service records, and a clean title.

Good Afternoon Folks, Welcome to this beautifully preserved 850CSI. I have had the opportunity to drive this car and if preforms admirably in all respects. It is an highly original and fastidiously maintained example. The documentation on the car is exemplary: every service record since new. Recent service included new batteries and a windshield washer reservoir. All items work and we would be happy to answer any questions. GLWTA.
