We are pleased to present this 1993 Mercedes-Benz R129 600SL finished in two-tone Black and Alto Grey. The top-range model of the R129 generation, the 600SL joined the SL-Class lineup in 1993 and features self-leveling suspension, active dampers, and automatic slip control as well as a powerful 6.0L V12 engine. This one-owner 1993 example remains beautifully preserved and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri while showing under 15k miles on the odometer.
This 600SL is finished in Black with Alto Grey lower body cladding and features a black soft top along with a removable painted hardtop. The car is described to be in outstanding condition throughout, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The factory 16” 8-hole light-alloy wheels come dressed in Michelin Premier All-Season tires.
Inside, this SL features a luxurious black leather interior with burl wood veneers accenting the door panels and center console. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable seats with memory, automatic climate control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD changer located in the trunk. The cabin shows to have been very well kept and the seller confirms all instrumentation and accessories to be fully functional.
This SL is equipped with a robust M120 6.0L quad-cam V12 engine capable of sending up to 389 HP and 421 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. Factory performance features include self-leveling suspension with the Adaptive Damping System (ADS) and Acceleration Skid Control (ASR). The seller notes that this example has been driven very sparingly and a well-documented history of service is said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include original owner's manuals and a clean title. This beautifully presented 600SL offers an excellent investment opportunity and would make a fine addition to any European car collection.

Good to know about the tires and fluids. Report also talks about needing front and rear brakes. Could you please comment on that? Thanks.
@alfagta Last year the car had new tires put on, aligned and a full fluid service.
Done? Sorry, sent too soon.
Nice looking car. The inspection at Knauz in Oct 20 shows recommendations for (probably) $2-4k of repairs/maintenance. Can the seller comment on whether any of these have been? Thx.
