Offer in the amount of $120,000
Hopefully we'll get a deal done with one of the bidders - Pcarmarket is working their magic. We were not too far off if somebody's ready to step up a bit for an unrepeatable car.
@buccicone yes
@switchcars So reserve not met?
This is turning out to be more of a slugfest than the debates on Tuesday!
I appreciate the engagement from all bidders. You all know this is a great one, tough to duplicate.

@buccicone I can’t understand why some guys like eggs on their hamburger.
Some people are keep and hold, others are try everything types. The one will never understand the other, but both exist within the car world.
Can’t understand why the most recent owner owned it for 8 months.
@Kingfrog43 one more thing I forgot to add - if you notice on a 2020 invoice the car was inspected at Steinel’s Autowerks and they specifically inspected the timing belt to confirm it was done and also to set tension which is recommended at a time/mileage interval after installing.
Bid in the amount of $87,500
Happy 9/28 everyone - celebrate by bidding on this gorgeous 928!
@Kingfrog43 The work was completed in July of 2019 by the previous owner. He is a highly regarded 928 collector, well known in Porsche circles and on Rennlist, and he owned the car from ~2011-2020 and performed all his own maintenance, which explains the lack of hard copy service records during that time.
The car is absolutely beautiful
What date was the timing belt done? Sorry but couldn't find it in the invoices. thanks
@eloutfi we have sent the driving video to pcarmarket and it should be on the listing today.

@eloutfi Sure thing - we may not get to that until early next week but as soon as we're able we'll post the video! I personally drove it about 60 miles last weekend and it performs beautifully. We will additionally have it checked over by Autowerks our local Porsche specialist before shipping it out to the new owner.
@Porsche930 We were told verbally that the car had professional touchup only on the roof panel due to light scratching, performed by the previous owner. If you look at the paint thickness readings, it's all within factory specs within a margin of error, and readings are very consistent across the board. There is no visible evidence of any repair, so we could easily make the claim that it's original paint and stand behind that, but it's difficult to claim that authoritatively on any 25+ yr old Porsche.
Can you make a video of it driving.
Has the car had any paintwork anywhere
Including sides,hood,roof, bumpers?
